  • Patent number: 10313989
Abstract: An approach includes generating a control message having a format designated for resource allocation, wherein the control message includes a plurality of control fields. One of the control fields is reserved to specify information other than information for resource allocation, the value indicating timing alignment information or information for starting a random access procedure. The control message is transmitted over a control channel according to a lower layer protocol.

  • Patent number: 10314109
Abstract: Method for managing available communication resources in a communication network and node (100, 200) for a communication network The invention concerns a method for managing signaling duties in a communication network and a node for a communication network, the node comprising a resource management. The method comprises using at least one signaling duty concerning a requested service for allocating corresponding communication resource of one of the nodes (200), the signaling duty being assigned to a different, further node (100) and the one node (200) being capable for at least partly providing the service. The method further comprises using the one node and the further node for determining a compensation and providing the compensation to said one node.

  • Patent number: 10305710
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for operating, by a base station, multiple modulation schemes in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: calculating the number of terminals, among the terminals in a cell managed by the base station, of which a channel state is included in a state that is lower than a preset state; reporting information related to the calculated number of terminals to an upstream entity of the base station; receiving information about a band, assigned by the upstream entity, for a hybrid frequency shift keying (FSK) and quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) (FQAM) scheme on the basis of a QAM scheme and a FSK scheme; and transmitting downwardly the information about the band for the FQAM scheme to the terminals of which a channel state is included in a state that is lower than the preset state. Other modified embodiments on the basis of the technical concept of the present invention are also possible.

  • Patent number: 10292154
Abstract: A communication establishment method, mobile station and transfer device based on transfer mode. The method comprises: a first mobile station sends to the transfer device control information including the slot used by the first mobile station and the control signalings corresponding to different service types, in order that the transfer device determines a transfer slot and gets ready for communication according to the control signalings; and the first mobile station communicates with a target mobile station group through the transfer slot. The transfer device can accurately acquire the slot used by the mobile station, thus reducing communication error rate and solving the problem that the transfer device can not identify the slot in the use of the mobile station and can not support delayed access. Meanwhile, the technical solution can be compatible with existing transfer device and mobile station.

  • Patent number: 10284347
Abstract: An in band control channel is created between nodes of a communication network in which the nodes have limited capability of inspecting the payload of packets to be transported over the network. The in band control channel is created by transmitting a plurality of dummy packets, each dummy packet having one of a plurality of different predetermined lengths, the sequence of dummy packets defining a code corresponding to at least one control command.

  • Patent number: 10284318
Abstract: In one example, a network controller manages a network having many network devices. Network devices can receive the timing flow port role assignments from the network controller based on the controller's global view of the network topology. The controller can also calculate timing offsets to be applied to the network devices, based on timestamp information obtained by the network devices via exchanging time synchronization protocol messages, and the controller can update time clocks on all of the network devices within a single window of time, based on a timing offsets calculated in single iteration of calculations.

  • Patent number: 10278205
Abstract: The invention relates to a control channel signal for use in a mobile communication system providing at least two different scheduling modes. Further the invention relates to a scheduling unit for generating the control channel signal and a base station comprising the scheduling unit. The invention also relates to the operation of a mobile station and a base station for implementing a scheduling mode using the control channel signal. In order to facilitate the use of different scheduling schemes for user data transmission while avoiding an additional flag for indicating the scheduling mode in the control signaling, the invention proposes the use of code points in existing control channel signal fields. Further, the invention proposes a specific scheduling mode for use in combination with the proposed control channel signal. According to this scheduling mode control channel information is only provided for retransmissions, while initial transmissions are decoded using blind detection.

  • Patent number: 10165607
Abstract: A vehicular radio communications system establishes a bi-directional digital radio communications link between a local wireless communication device inside a moving vehicle and a sequence of radio transceivers in a wireless network. The local device operates in a plurality of different device frequency bands and the external transceivers operate in a plurality of different network frequency bands. Some or all of the device frequency bands are the same as some or all of the network frequency bands. The system comprises a set of one or more external radio antennas operating in an external downlink and an external uplink using a network frequency band and a set of one or more local radio antennas operating in a local downlink and a local uplink using a local frequency band different from the network band.
