Abstract: Data can be collected from a plurality of barcode-reading devices associated with an enterprise. The collected data can be distinct from the decoded data that is generated by the barcode-reading devices when barcodes are read. For example, the collected data can include device data describing one or more characteristics of the barcode-reading device. Other types of data (e.g., camera data, license data, decoding metadata) can also be collected. The collected data can be sent to a remote server for processing and analysis. The remote server can provide feedback to the enterprise based on the results of analyzing the collected data.

Abstract: Systems and methods of incentivizing the use of a safety device while operating a vehicle are provided. Data captured by sensors associated with a safety device may be analyzed to identify instances in which the safety device is used by an operator of a vehicle. Additionally, data captured by sensors associated with the vehicle may be analyzed to identify instances in which the vehicle is in motion. By comparing the instances in which the safety device is used by the operator of the vehicle to the instances in which the vehicle is in motion, instances in which the operator of the vehicle uses the safety device while operating the vehicle may be determined. Furthermore, a trend of the operator of the vehicle using the safety device while operating the vehicle may be identified. A notification related to the identified trend may be provided to the operator of the vehicle.

Abstract: A suspension device includes a leaf spring and a buffer. The leaf spring applies an elastic force for relatively moving an unsprung member in a predetermined direction with respect to a body (sprung member) of a vehicle. The buffer includes a first expansion/contraction member, a second expansion/contraction member, an intermediate member, and a damping passage. The first and second expansion/contraction members form first and second gas chambers filled with gas therein and are expandable and contractible. An upper end and a lower end of the first and second expansion/contraction members are connected to the body. The intermediate member couples the first and second expansion/contraction members and is connected to the leaf spring. The damping passage allows the first and second gas chambers to communicate with each other, and applies resistance to flow of flowing gas. When one of the first and second expansion/contraction members expands, the other contracts.
Abstract: Disclosed is a system (100, 200) for authenticating a digital transaction by implementing a multi-party computation protocol. The system comprises a first set of first nodes (102) configured to generate a first data (104), wherein each of the first nodes, from the first set of first nodes, in a second set of first nodes (102A) is an independent party and a server arrangement (106) communicably coupled with the first set of first nodes. Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and control apparatus for burning an address code of LED lamp beads, and relates to the technical field of LEDs. The method for burning the address code of the LED lamp beads described by the present disclosure is applied to a burner and includes: generating, by the burner, an optical signal; and sending the optical signal to the LED lamp beads such that the LED lamp beads sense the optical signal, convert the optical signal into an address code and store the address code. The present disclosure makes use of a light sensing effect of the LED lamp beads, sends the optical signal to the LED lamp beads through the burner such that the LED lamp beads generate an address code according to the optical signal, and burn the address code into the LED lamp beads.
Abstract: Systems and methods relate to borehole seismic studies. Traditionally, borehole seismic studies are conducted using geophones. Seismic acquisition can be performed using fiber optic Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS). Because DAS measures dynamic relative displacement over a gauge length, which is different from particle velocity, DAS data can be converted into an equivalent geophone output response. Operations include converting DAS data into distributed velocity, and then, converting the velocity output into an equivalent geophone response. Various aspects include separating the data into interleaving subsets, integrating each subset along the spatial coordinates, selecting a window width over which the median of each subset will be calculated and subtracted from the data, performing a spatial average or low-pass filtering over contiguous values, performing a time-domain low-pass filtering, and performing the velocity-to-geophone conversion operation.
