  • Patent number: 9929592
Abstract: A UPS sensitivity of power status parameter adjustment setting method used in UPS system for allowing sensitivity setting of power status parameter manually by user or according to system default value. Microcontroller can automatically switch sensitivity to HIGH to enhance power protection if power status of input power supply is judged in the range set according to option of energy-saving, electrical safety or set time in priority after completing counting time. If power generator of relatively lower power quality level is used for input power supply, microcontroller can automatically switch sensitivity to LOW subject to option of energy-saving in priority and employ a low-sensitivity detection of power judgment, maintaining USP system in normal mode without being changed to battery mode, preventing system shutdown due to complete discharge of stored energy systems, and UPS system can operate normally, and power supply of stored energy systems can be prolonged and well-protected.

  • Patent number: 9929917
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for active, real-time control of a plurality of devices and associated applications for monitoring and completing one or more targets through an interactive integrated interface. In this regard, the system determines a plurality of devices and applications associated with the user. The system then determines one or more targets of the user based on analyzing device information, application information and user information. The one or more targets are configured to be completed by modifying control factors associated with the devices. The system may then initiate a display of the targets on the interactive integrated interface and enable the user to select suitable targets. Following the selection of targets by the user, the system configures applications and devices associated with the targets to provide information and feedback associated with the selected targets.

  • Patent number: 9892847
Abstract: A power-supplying resonator of a power-supplying module and a power-receiving resonator of a power-receiving module are arranged to face each other. On inner circumferential surface sides of the power-supplying resonator and the coil of the power-receiving resonator, cylindrical magnetic members which cover the entire inner circumferential surface of the coils of the power-supplying resonator and the power-receiving resonator are arranged. By conducting power transmission between the power-supplying resonator and the power-receiving resonator while varying a magnetic field, the magnetic field occurring around the power-supplying resonator and the power-receiving resonator is shielded by the magnetic members, and there is formed, on the coil inner circumferential surface sides of the power-supplying resonator and the coil of the power-receiving resonator, a magnetic field space whose magnetic field strength is smaller than the magnetic field strength of areas other than the inner circumferential surface sides.

  • Patent number: 9887627
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments and principles provide a way to integrate high-efficiency, low-profile power electronics with localized maximum power point tracking (MPPT) into a rooftop shingle-based photovoltaic power system. DC-DC power converters having a height, or profile, as low as ¼ inch for a 200 W power output, are able to be included in a building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roof shingle. The DC-DC power converters increase the relatively low voltage produced by two rows of series-connected photovoltaic shingles, each including photovoltaic cells, to a high voltage used by a DC-AC inverter. For example, DC-DC power converter increases the voltage produced by two rows of series-connected photovoltaic shingles from several tens of volts to approximately 400 volts. Thus, the DC-DC power converters provide a large voltage step-up using a low profile and with very high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 9874995
Abstract: A grid-based visualization displays icons representing data entities in grid cells corresponding with the data entities' attribute values. The grid-based visualization enables users to zoom in or maximize the size of a selected grid cell, row of grid cells, column of grid cells, or any other selection of grid cells in a grid-based visualization. When zooming on a single row, the other rows are reduced in height and the selected row is enlarged to occupy the remaining space. When maximizing a single column, the other columns are reduced in width and the selected column is enlarged. When maximizing one or more cells, the unselected cells are minimized in height and/or width, and the selected cells are enlarged. Icons may be dynamically sized to fit within their assigned cells. An overflow indicator, zooming, and scrolling may be used to view sets of icons that cannot fit within their assigned cells.
