  • Patent number: 5018198
Abstract: A speech privacy processing apparatus is disclosed including:a unit for obtaining the number of coefficients commonly included in a set of coefficients obtained by Fourier transformation and corresponding to high-frequency spectrum components of an input original speech signal and the set of coefficients corresponding to the high-frequency spectrum components after scrambling processing;scrambler for repetitively performing scrambling processing until the number of the common coefficients becomes smaller than a predetermined threshold value;a counter for counting the number of repetitions of the scrambling processing and transmitting the count to a receiver side;a unit for extracting a repetition count of scrambling processing from a reception signal;descrambler for performing descrambling processing in accordance with the extracted repetition count; anda unit for reproducing a speech signal.

  • Patent number: 4862372
Abstract: Altitude rate commands are generated and fed to an aircraft autopilot to cause the aircraft to transition to a non-level flight path which corresponds to a portion of a calculated flight path profile stored in a flight management computer. When capture of the non-level path is initiated, altitude rate commands are generated in accordance with the equation h.sub.cmd =h.sub.path +k.sub.h .DELTA.h where h.sub.path is the altitude rate of the non-level segment, .DELTA.h is an altitude difference between current aircraft altitude and an altitude point on the non-level segment, and k.sub.h is an altitude error gain which is a nonlinear inverse function of altitude rate error, .DELTA.h, and which is calcuated in accordance with the equation k.sub.h =k.sub.1 -k.sub.2 .vertline..DELTA.h.vertline. where k.sub.1 and k.sub.2 are predetermined constants.

  • Patent number: 4829304
Abstract: A navigation system contains a modified Kalman filter processor which continuously receives both TERCOM and SITAN control information so that the operation of the SITAN processing is effectively continuously optimized. The system employs an over flight terrain data storage map to which position and altitude signals are coupled for extracting both elevation and slope information from the stored map. The extracted elevation and slope data are coupled, together with the outputs of baromatic and radar altimeter sensors and estimated altitude and position data outputs from the navigation unit, to a correlation/modified Kalman filter processor.

  • Patent number: 4814772
Abstract: A method and apparatus for precisely determining the relative velocity of an interferometer and a scene being scanned. The apparatus uses a matched filter technique in which reference signals based on high and low relative velocity estimates are correlated with an incoming interferometer signal and controllably adjusted until the correlation is maximized. The controllably adjusted reference signals are then used to produce an extremely accurate and precise measurement of relative velocity.
