The apparatus is constructed from a box with open top having fabric stretched across the top and having holes cut in the corners and with a flap in the middle. These openings are large enough for a cat's paws and shoulders. The cat reaches inside to grab for a ball placed inside the box. Besides being a sleeping apparatus, it doubles as a game that provides entertainment and exercise for the cat since it appeals to the animal's strategic nature.
