Abstract: A device is disclosed for facilitating the anchoring and release of a structure to a medium, such as sand. The device is operable to inject a liquefying fluid into a medium upon a down stroke so as to facilitate liquefication within an area of the medium. The structure is simultaneously inserted into the area of the medium where liquefication has occurred by creating a vacuum within the structure, upon an upstroke, which facilitates the insertion operation. The distal end of the structure to be anchored is fitted with at least one protrusion for increasing the holding force of the medium. If desired, the distal end of the structure is also fitted with at least one fin operable under selective control of a user for reducing the holding force on the structure. In one embodiment, the user, when desiring to release the structure, rotates the structure, thereby rotating the fin.

Abstract: Piece of furniture, such as a dresser, includes a frame having a front facing surface and a rear facing surface, rectangular drawers each insertable into and partly removable from the frame and at least one of which includes a vertically oriented front panel, rectangular side panels, a horizontal lower panel and a vertically oriented rear panel, and front, non-adjustable supports and rear, non-adjustable supports for supporting the frame on a horizontal surface. The rear supports have a lower height than the front supports. As such, a distance between a lowermost drawer and a rear of the frame is less than a distance between the lowermost drawer and a front of the frame when the lowermost drawer is fully inserted into the frame.

Abstract: A screen protector attachment device for releasably attaching any of a variety of screen protectors to a viewing display of an electronic device. A screen protector attachment device includes a base bracket having a magnet embedded therein, and a screen foil bracket having a magnet embedded therein wherein the base bracket comprises one of a planar bracket, an angled bracket, a curved bracket, a corner bracket, or a flexible bracket, configured to accommodate electronic devices having either a full viewing display or a display with a peripheral frame. A protector screen is affixed to one or more screen foil brackets that are each magnetically coupled to corresponding base brackets attached about the viewable display of electronic devices.

Abstract: A full-moment column collar is disclosed, including four collar flange components and four collar corner components. Each collar flange component includes an upper transverse element and a lower transverse element, connected by a bridging member. Each collar corner component includes first and second expanses defining a corner and a standoff portion extending from the corner, the standoff portion having a distal T-shaped structure. Each collar corner component is configured to connect two adjacent collar flange components, and each collar corner component has a multi-axis alignment structure extending from a bottom end portion for vertically positioning a lower transverse element of a respective collar flange component.

Abstract: Dresser includes a frame having a wall section forming a rear wall, and an upper panel that covers an accessible space. A bracket is designed for attachment to a vertical support, a first connector is attached to the bracket, a second connector is attached to the frame in a position to be in the space and removably engages with the first connector when present in the space under the upper panel. The first and/or second connector is/are length adjustable relative to its supporting structure, i.e., relative to the bracket in the case of the first connector or relative to the frame in the case of the second connector to enable a distance between the frame and the vertical support to be reduced. A reduction in distance between the frame and the vertical support and engagement between the first and second connectors prevents tipping of the piece of furniture.

Abstract: A mounting system includes a male portion and a female portion, each for attaching to one of two different objects (e.g. devices, accessories, walls). In one embodiment, each of the portions are produced entirely by one-piece injection molding. The male portion is substantially planar and has concave indentation or detent areas. The female section has a planar back side and inwardly facing walls on each side forming a channel. One or both sides has an extension member that is spring biased such that as the male portion is slid into the female portion, the extension member moves into the concave indentation or detent areas to hold the male member in the channel until sufficient force is exerted in an opposite direction to overcome the spring bias and slide the male section out of the channel of the female section.

Abstract: A ornament fixture structure, used to secure an ornament onto a decorative main body, includes a positioning clamp for clamping onto the decorative main body and a supporting shaft provided for the ornament to be mounted and attached thereon. The positioning clamp includes an axial tube, a left clamp member and a right clamp member. The left and right clamp members are arranged at two sides of the axial tube respectively, which also include left and right jaw portions extended to front sides thereof and provided for clamping, left and right wings extended to rear sides thereof and provided for operation. The supporting shaft uses its bottom end for attaching onto the axial tube, and a supporting end is formed at the top end in order to allow the ornament to be mounted thereon.

Abstract: A mounting bracket lock may be configured to secure the mounting bracket of a window treatment housing to a rail of the housing. The mounting bracket lock may be slidably attachable to the rail and, when in a locked position, may prevent the mounting bracket from detaching from the rail. The mounting bracket lock may include a body that is mountable to the rail. The body may include a first portion that slidably attaches to the rail, and a second portion that receives a portion of the rail and a portion of the mounting bracket, thereby securing the mounting bracket in a locked position relative to the rail. The body of the mounting bracket lock may define one or more projections that extend therefrom, and that engage in a friction fit between corresponding surfaces of the mounting bracket when the mounting bracket lock is in the locked position.

Abstract: A support apparatus includes a base member, an intermediate member, an upper member, a pair of first rails provided at the base member, the pair of first rails extending in a first direction, and a pair of second rails provided at the upper member, the pair of second rails extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The intermediate member includes a pair of first rollers engaging with the first rails and a pair of second rollers engaging with the second rails. The intermediate member constitutes a first pendulum mechanism that allows an oscillation of the upper member in the first direction and a second pendulum mechanism that allows an oscillation of the upper member in the second direction. The intermediate member includes a first drive portion that drives the first rollers to rotate and a second drive portion that drives the second rollers to rotate.

Abstract: A pedestal for mounting an accessory onto a vehicle surface has a hollow core body with an oblong first slot at a top end for receiving a fastener therethrough and an oblong second slot within for holding a nut and engaging the fastener. The fastener and nut are linearly adjustable in a first direction along the slots for ease of aligning the accessory's mounting hole with the pedestal and fastener, so as to secure the accessory to the pedestal's top end with the fastener. The body may also have wider oblong slots and additional side body slits for fitting an elongate bar nut, to provide greater adjustability in a second direction within the pedestal for enhanced two dimensional alignment of the accessory with the pedestal and fastener. A skirt and adhesive pad at the bottom end of the body securely bond the pedestal, and hence the accessory, to the vehicle surface.

Abstract: An adjustable ground support beam for an LED display screen has a ground support beam body and two ground support feet, the ground support feet are respectively disposed at two ends under the ground support beam body to support the ground support beam body, each of the ground support feet includes a supporting base and a threaded rod screwed onto the supporting base, the threaded rod is rotatably disposed on the ground support beam body and limited in an upper and lower direction so as to move the supporting base along a lengthwise direction of the threaded rod by rotating the threaded rod to adjust the position of the supporting base. This improves the levelness of the LED display screen, and is convenient for quick installation.

Abstract: A sign waving machine platform for street side promotions that incorporates a base frame, a sign waving apparatus plus an upper web to attach accessories including mannequins and electric signs. The sign waving apparatus includes a motor housing, battery, electric motor and bracket assembly that couples the motor drive shaft to a sign frame which moves relative to the housing as the motor drive shaft rotates. Signs can be attached to all sides of the sign frame. The platform attaches at the top only to posts, carts and other so it can freely swing in many directions with the wind. This rugged, lightweight platform has a primary structure made from 2 aluminum tubes; one slides inside the other and telescopes. Fastening occurs using thumb screws attached to the outer tubes and joints that when twisted, pinches the inside interconnecting tubes. The platform stretches in many directions providing numerous configurations.

Abstract: A holder device is provided for attachment to a wheelchair or other mobility equipment. The device has a surface that is at least partially bounded, with the bounded portion forming a slot. The device has a first holder magnet at the surface adjacent a terminus of the slot and a second holder magnet at the surface spaced apart from the first magnet. Also provided is a system for fixing an accessory to a wheelchair or other mobility equipment. The system has a holder device, such as that described above, and a sliding member for interfacing with the holder device. The sliding member has a sliding surface for mating with the holder surface, a first sliding magnet at the sliding surface of the sliding member, and a second sliding magnet spaced apart from the first sliding magnet.

The first and second frame members are adjustable relative to one another along a first axis, and the second and third frame members are adjustable relative to one another along a second axis crosswise to the first axis.

Abstract: A vertically-elongated member, which is preferably a support post used in a molten metal pump, includes a ceramic tube and tensioning structures to add a compressive load to the tube along its longitudinal axis. This makes the tube less prone to breakage. Another vertically-elongated member, such as a support post, includes one or more reinforcement members to help alleviate breakage. A device, such as a pump, used in a molten metal bath includes one or more of such vertical members.
