Abstract: A hair collection center structure encompass a nylon halo cylinder for allowing a hair bundle to pass through the center. The nylon cylinder is tightly rolled with hair elastic connected to the nylon to extend letting the rubber band snap around the halo cylinder keeping the hair in place. The nylon cylinder is formed by placing a hole at the end of the nylon and tightly rolling it to form a thick circular bun. The thickness and strength which are extremely sufficient for facilitating the beauty bun style by placing the hair in a secure and protected bun. The elastic allows the rubber band length to stretch fixing the hair in a round circular shape, avoiding the need of uncomfortable pins.

  • Patent number: 9204937
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to software used in planning the correction of bone deformities preoperatively or postoperatively, and in particular relates to virtually manipulating rings and struts of an external fixation frame in order to plan the steps for making a desired correction to two or more bone portions of a patient. The software can be used prior to surgery, allowing a user to virtually define a bone deformity, and virtually add and manipulate fixation rings and struts to the bone deformity. Based on the virtual manipulations, a correction plan can be generated that describes length adjustments that should be made to the plurality of model struts over a period of time to correct the bone deformity. The software can also be used after surgical fixation of the fixation frame and struts to the deformed bone.

  • Patent number: 9198651
Abstract: An anchor inserter provides for inserting an anchor into a hole in body tissue. The anchor inserter has an elongated shaft with a first axis and a distal end and an insertion tip. The insertion tip has a driving tip extending distally from the distal end of the shaft to terminate in an anchor engaging interface. A resiliency between the anchor engaging interface and the shaft allows bending away from the first axis. An abutment member extends distally from the shaft and has a distally facing abutment surface adjacent the driving tip which abuts the anchor and allows an axial force to be transmitted thereto. Preferably, the abutment member comprises a collar extending from the shaft and coaxially receiving the driving tip.

  • Patent number: 9198656
Abstract: A surgery using a suture assembly made of a continuous length of braided suture material defining an interior lumen, and forming a loop and a tail, and further comprising a first length and a second length, conceptually divided at a midpoint of the loop. The tail includes first, intermediate and second regions. The first region is formed by the first length breaching the second length and entering the interior lumen of the second length, and extending within the second length. The intermediate region is formed by the first length breaching and exiting the second length, so that the first length and the second length extend in adjacent relation. Finally, the third region is formed by the second length breaching the first length and entering the lumen of the first length and extending within the second length. The transitions between the regions of the tail offer resistance to slippage.
