Abstract: A luminaire 11 has baffle elements 31 in the down light opening of the luminaire's housing 15 for shielding the luminaire's light source 27 from direct view at normal viewing angles S. The bottom edges 51 of the baffle elements are provided with visual accent areas 55 which, at shielded viewing angles, exhibit relatively high observable brightness as compared to the relatively low observable brightness of the baffle elements' reflective surfaces 53. The visual accent area of the baffle elements is relatively small as compared to the baffles' reflective surfaces so as to produce a visual accent without visual discomfort associated with direct and reflected glare.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a partition of a plasma display panel includes the steps of spraying and coating a powdered partition material onto a substrate on which address electrodes and a dielectric layer are formed, melting the partition material by a laser beam, and solidifying the melted partition material to complete the partition.
Abstract: A multilayered lens for a lamp, e.g., an automotive lamp. The lens includes a transparent, unitary, polymeric lens blank having an inner surface and an outer surface; a thin, translucent, color layer disposed on, conforming to, and bonded to the inner or outer lens blank surface; and a thin, transparent, protective coating disposed on and over-lying the color layer. The color layer includes a thermoplastic polymer film of at least one color. Optionally, the film may be patterned to include two or more colored regions and/or indicia. Also disclosed are a lamp assembly, e.g., an automotive lamp assembly including the multilayered lens and methods for fabricating the multilayered lens and the lamp assembly by heat transfer of the color layer to the lens blank from a heat transfer carrier film.
Abstract: An artificial flower lamp assembly comprises a main trunk, a plurality of branches connected to the main trunk, a plurality of artificial flower lamps connected to the branches, and a plurality of bulbs disposed in the artificial flower lamps. The main trunk encloses a main wire.
