  • Patent number: 10506897
Abstract: A mixing assembly includes a container having a wall that defines an interior chamber within which a product is received. A mixing structure is received within the interior chamber and mixes the product. The mixing structure has a body portion that extends along a body axis between a first end and a second end. The first end of the body portion has a first cross-sectional size. The second end of the body has a second cross-sectional size that is larger than the first cross-sectional size. The body portion has a wall that extends helically about the body axis between the first end and the second end. The wall defines a channel that extends helically about the body axis. An end axis extends perpendicular to the body axis radially outwardly to an exterior of the body portion through an opening defined by the wall.

  • Patent number: 10493412
Abstract: Blender and food processing devices dampen impact forces between a blending blade and a blending jar. One blender includes a blender base and a blending jar that has a seal opening. A blending blade assembly in the jar includes a blending blade, a jar shaft attached to the blending blade and extending through the seal opening, a circular motion guide positioned around the jar shaft, and a jar seal positioned between the circular motion guide and the seal opening. The jar seal prevents contact between the circular motion guide and the seal opening and dampens forces induced by relative motion between the seal opening and the blending blade, jar shaft, and/or circular motion guide. The dampening may reduce wear or damage to the jar and may improve quality of the blending jar and blade assembly.

  • Patent number: 10449580
Abstract: Herein proposed is a device (45) with a first module (10) for the production of a heterogeneous mixture of FORSU which, after the removal of the most coarse inerts, is dropped—by gravity—in an underlying second module (46), in which along the three chambers (47, 52, 54) in succession to the heterogeneous mixture of FORSU there are collected the further residue coarse inerts as well as the finest and heaviest inerts and there is obtained a mixture with matrix homogenised substantially in the liquid state and thus dischargeable by pumping reliably. In the device (45) the first module (10) is mounted on the underlying second module (46) through the interposition of load cells (59). With the proposed device the FORSU in the liquid state may be pumped directly in an anaerobic digestor thus avoiding an intermediate transport thereof.
