Abstract: An email-based e-commerce system is disclosed with additional features for added security. The system may include security features for email based e-commerce providing added assurance to customers of a higher level of protection than generally required. These security features enhance the password reset function without requiring a password, generate confirmations on outside messaging systems and implement an oversight management tool for authorizing transactions. The methods and apparatus described herein may enhance security by designing a system that can confirm payments through a separate non-email based media. The e-commerce system may send alerts or requests for confirmation in a variety of media to ensure a secure payment process. The methods and apparatus described herein may expand the list of individuals that may request or approve payments based on a single account registered by a single credit card holder. A single user may receive requests from registered sub-customers for payments by email.

Abstract: A data interaction method, a verification terminal, a server, and a system are described. The method includes: receiving, by a verification terminal, identity verification information from a user terminal, the identity verification information being information sent to the user terminal by a server in advance; sending, by the verification terminal, a request instruction to the server, the request instruction including the identity verification information; executing, by the server, an operation corresponding to the request instruction; and sending, by the server, feedback information to the verification terminal.

Abstract: A method for controlling a near field communication between a device and a transaction card is disclosed. The method includes the steps of capturing, by a front-facing camera of the device, a series of images of the transaction card and processing each image of the series of images to identify a darkness level associated with a distance of the transaction card from the front of the device. The method includes comparing each identified darkness level to a predetermined darkness level associated with a preferred distance for a near field communication read operation and automatically triggering a near field communication read operation between the device and the transaction card for the communication of a cryptogram from an applet of the transaction card to the device in response to the identified darkness level corresponding to the predetermined darkness level associated with the preferred distance for the near field communication read operation.

Abstract: A method and a computer system for a split payment are provided. A split payment method may include: obtaining cost information of at least one transaction for a split payment; creating a split payment page that allows a visitor of the split payment page to pay a portion of a cost of the at least one transaction; providing the visitor with a link to the split payment page; and based on the portion of the cost of the at least one transaction being selected by the visitor of the split payment page, processing a payment or remittance of the portion of the cost, and updating the split payment page according to a result of the payment or the remittance.

Abstract: A system and method for leveraging email to complete a checkout for registered and unregistered customers of the e-commerce system are disclosed. The system and method include receiving, by an email payment gateway, an email message comprising a customer email address and a token. The token includes transaction information for a transaction from a third party vendor. The system and method further include determining a registration status of a customer based on the customer email address, wherein the registration status is one of a registered customer of the e-commerce system or an unregistered customer of the e-commerce system. The system and method further include decoding the token and sending an email message to the customer email address based on the registration status and the decoded token.

Abstract: Detachable payment devices capable of performing payment transactions associated with a mobile wallet of a mobile device are described. The payment device may be implemented in a variety of shapes and sizes such as, the shape of a typical payment card or a stylus/electronic pen. In order to communicate with the mobile device, the mobile wallet of the mobile device, and a POS terminal, the detachable payment device may use short range contactless transmissions. While in a docked mode, the payment device may receive payment card data from a mobile wallet of the mobile device. Additionally, while docked, the payment device may transmit payment card data to a POS terminal's receiver, thereby acting as an integrated mobile payment unit with the mobile device. When in an undocked mode, the payment device may complete contactless payment transactions without assistance from the mobile device.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for aggregating quantities associated with messages includes: generating an implied message for an object based on two constituent messages, wherein the implied message is associated with a value based on the values of the constituent messages, a priority that is equivalent to the lower of the priorities of the constituent messages, and a quantity that is equivalent to the lesser of the quantities of the constituent messages, receiving third and fourth messages, increasing the quantity of the implied message based on the received messages, and upon an occurrence of a match event involving the implied message, automatically allocating all of the quantity of the implied message for matching during the match event before allocating any of the quantity associated with the third message for matching during the match event.

In particular, a method is provided for performing a transaction using a disability-friendly geolocation payment system that includes a payment application with a disability functionality, which may be activated so as to provide auditory instructions and/or enlarged text instructions to a disabled cardholder.

Abstract: Methods and systems for hearing-impaired payment applications are provided herein. In particular, a method for performing a transaction using a hearing device payment system is provided that includes a hearing device and a cardholder computing device. The method includes pairing the hearing device to the cardholder computing device by means of a wireless communication protocol. A payment application on the cardholder computing device is started to perform a transaction. A cardholder initiates an audible instruction function of the payment application. In addition, the payment application transmits a digital audio signal to the hearing device by means of the wireless communication protocol. The digital audio signal provides an audible instruction to the cardholder via the hearing device.

Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for generating financial goal packages. Personal and financial information is received from a user. Multiple budgeting strategies are generated based on the received personal and financial information. The budgeting strategies specify an amount of money to be saved by the user every set time period. A selection of a budgeting strategy is received from the user. Multiple goal packages specifying an allocation for the money saved by the user are generated. The multiple goal packages are scored based on the selected budgeting strategy. A goal package is selected based on the scores of each of the goal packages. The selected goal package is displayed to the user via a graphical user interface.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for displaying group employee insurance information against benchmark information. Insurance profiles for business entities are retrieved from a data structure. A benchmark score corresponding to a benchmark category is generated for a current insurance profile of a selected business entity using the insurance profiles. The benchmark score indicates a portion of a selected premium for the current insurance profile that is paid by business entities that fall within the benchmark category. The current insurance profile is displayed in a graphical user interface on a display system. The benchmark score is displayed in association with the current insurance profile in the graphical user interface to aid a user in managing the employee insurance. Displaying the benchmark score in association with the insurance profile allows the user to more quickly and easily assess payment of the selected premium for the insurance profile in comparison to benchmark category.

Abstract: A voice controlled (VC) system for onboarding users and exchanging data in real-time over a network is provided. The VC system includes at least one data controller (DC) computing device in communication with at least one voice controlled (VC) computing device. The DC computing device is configured to receive transaction data and voice controlled (VC) data, parse the transaction data and the VC data, and perform a look up in a database using the parsed transaction data and VC data. The VC system is also configured to compare the transaction data and the VC data to stored data, and verify the transaction data and the VC data by matching the transaction data and the VC data to the stored data. The VC system is further configured to generate a message based on the matched data, and transmit the message to a merchant associated with the verified data.

Abstract: The invention provides systems, methods and computer program products for secure electronic payment transactions based on voice generated currency tokens. The invention comprises implementing at a voice currency platform server, the steps of (i) receiving from a payor terminal device a request for generation of a voice currency token, (ii) performing voice based biometric authentication by matching the voice data received from the payor terminal device against one or more voice based biometric templates associated with the payor voice currency platform account, (iii) performing speech analysis to extract at least the currency amount identified within the voice data received from the payor terminal device and (iv) generating an encrypted voice currency token.

Abstract: A device may receive, from a server device, a real-time notification indicating that a field of a user account is being modified. The field may include personal information of a user associated with the user account and/or information identifying authorized users of the user account. The device may receive, from a user device, a request associated with a high-risk transaction involving the user account. The device may determine a risk score indicating a likelihood of the high-risk transaction being performed by an unauthorized user. The device may selectively identify an authentication procedure, of a group of authentication procedures, based on the risk score. The device may provide authentication instructions for the authentication procedure to the user device to allow the user device to perform the authentication procedure.
