Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for selecting an educational institution, including determining selection criteria for an educational institution, including a location of the educational institution, a type and size of the educational institution, and an admission selectivity of the educational institution; and generating a list of one or more recommended schools satisfying the selection criteria, wherein the recommended schools satisfy predetermined freshman retention rates and graduation rates.

Abstract: Methods and systems for tracking whether an individual has received required services and for analyzing service gaps. In one embodiment, the present invention tracks special education students to ensure that they receive services that have been designated as appropriate for them. When a service is provided to any student by any provider, this information is input and maintained electronically. Once this information is entered, it can be analyzed to ensure that the services provided correspond with the student's IEP. In another embodiment, data from the input information on service encounters is usable with Medicaid or other reimbursement services to produce documents for submission for reimbursement.

Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus for matching pets, particularly dogs and cats, with an appropriate product by a pet owner. A breed code is assigned to each breed of pet based on predetermined criteria. Pet products and supplies are classified based on the suitability of the product for pets of various breed codes. The breed codes assigned to each breed and breed codes assigned to each product are published and made available to the consumer so that a pet owner may make an informed decision in purchasing a product for a pet.

Abstract: A charging system is provided which solicits from third parties information about products supposedly infringing on a right holder's lawful right and which, upon exposure of the infringement, acquires royalty revenues from the trespassing party for a reimbursement to any third party having contributed the information on the infringement, whereby right-related information is collected more efficiently and a market on which such information circulates is actively promoted.
