Abstract: A photographic element having at least two silver halide emulsion layers, one layer containing a colorless cyan-forming coupler which produces a negative image and the other layer containing a colored coupler which upon color development with a p-phenylene diamine developer produces a positive dye image of contrasting color to cyan, will produce a color contrast radiographic picture after exposure and development.

Abstract: A process for forming a cyan dye image by using a novel photographic 2-equivalent cyan coupler which is characterized by having a splitt-off group of the below-indicated general formula at the active position of the cyan coupler so that the oxy portion is present on the side of the active position: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 stand for a hydrogen atom or an organic group, provided at least one of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 should be an organic group, is disclosed.

Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material containing at least one hydroquinone compound substituted with one or two tertiary alkyl groups having 15 carbon atoms, or a precursor thereof. The hydroquinone compounds are particularly useful for preventing color fog or color stain which is observed with color photographic light-sensitive materials.

Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, a non-diffusible color coupler present in at least one layer on the support and a layer containing at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, an alkoxyalkyl group or an alkylsulfonamidoalkyl group; R.sub.2 represents an alkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, an alkoxyalkyl group or an alkylsulfonamidoalkyl group, R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxyalkyl group, and R.sub.4 and R.sub.5, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a carboxyl group, a sulfo group, a nitro group, a carboxylic acid ester group, an alkyl group or an alkoxyalkyl group.
