  • Patent number: 7431220
Abstract: A fuel injector having a piezoelectric actuator in an injector body and held in contact with the injector body on one side and with a sleevelike booster piston on the other via first spring means. A nozzle body joined to the injector body and a stepped nozzle needle is guided in the body. A second spring disposed inside the booster piston which together with the injection pressure acting on the back side of the nozzle needle keeps the nozzle needle in the closing position. A control chamber on the end toward the nozzle needle of the booster piston communicates, via at least one leakage gap with a fuel supply at injection pressure, and the nozzle needle is urged in the opening direction by the fuel located in the control chamber.

  • Patent number: 7426784
Abstract: The invention satisfies this need. The invention is an internally threaded insert for use with a polymetric pipe fitting in a fire sprinkler system. The insert comprises an outer side surface, an outer rearward surface and an outer forward surface. The outer forward surface is adapted to retain a fire sprinkler at a forward end of the insert. The outer side surface of the insert is sized and dimensioned so as to closely match the bores of standard polymeric pipe fittings, so as to be capable of being slidably and snugly received into the bores of a standard polymeric pipe fitting. The insert can be conveniently affixed within the bores by non-mechanical means, such as by gluing.

  • Patent number: 7422162
Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic water inlet switching device for an oscillating sprinkler that has a sprinkle control unit having a blade equipped gear transmission set housed therein, working together with a water inlet switching device having an operation unit and a movable swinging seat. The bottom of the movable swinging seat is provided with two water stop ends in opposite to two outlet holes defined on a coupling unit with a concaved bounded space placed at the center thereof. An action stick of the operation unit is operable inside the bounded space so that in the water inlet switching operation the swinging angle of the action stick is limited within the bounded space and the action stick will move against the push end thereof so as to produce a built-up force to instantaneously spring away the movable swinging seat no matter what the water pressure is high or low in operation.

  • Patent number: 7422164
Abstract: A spray gun with pressure display for applying paint onto a painted object by atomizing the paint with compressed air. A pressure indicating device includes a digitally displayed pressure sensor (25), a pressure transducer part (24), and a display part (27) unitized with each other. The pressure indicating device is detachably installed on a spray gun body, and adapters (21, 22) without a pressure indication function are detachably fitted to the spray gun body according to the shape of the body grip part so that the presence or absence of the pressure indication function can be selected before use. The spray gun can be used under controlled conditions by allowing a worker to detect an air pressure at hand during spraying operation since the spraying air pressure largely affects paint finish as well as dispersion of atomized paint.

  • Patent number: 7419105
Abstract: A spray oscillating control apparatus for sprinklers is equipped with a sprinkling control assembly to swing a spray body into different angles wherein a gear train assembly with an impeller is mounted into the sprinkling control assembly and work in linking mechanism with a spray oscillating control apparatus composed of a water duct having two inlet orifices and a spray control device having a linkage gear wheel and two covering blocks. The linkage gear wheel is directly meshed with one matched gear of the gear train assembly and the two covering blocks are matched to the two inlet orifices, permitting the linkage gear wheel and the two covering blocks to rotate along with the gear train assembly and, thus, switch the amount of intake water supply in a gradual manner so that spray sprinkled can oscillate rhythmically from far-to-near and near-to-far in distance, achieving even distribution of the spray onto a lawn.
