Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a wireless local area network WLAN measurement and reporting method, and a related device. The method includes: acquiring, by a user terminal, WLAN group information, where the WLAN group information indicates at least one WLAN group; determining, by the user terminal, whether at least one WLAN in the WLAN group satisfies WLAN measurement configuration information; and reporting, by the user terminal, a measurement result of the at least one WLAN in the WLAN group to a base station when the at least one WLAN in the WLAN group satisfies the WLAN measurement configuration information. Therefore, a signaling resource can be saved, thereby reducing signaling load caused by simultaneous reporting of a large quantity of WLAN measurement results.

  • Patent number: 10512011
Abstract: A control node (142) used in connection with a core network (120) operates to transmit a relocation command message related to a first network node (121S) located in the core network (120) and performing mobility management and bearer management of a plurality of mobile terminals (111) that have attached to the core network (120). The relocation command message causes relocation, from the first network node (121S) to at least one second network node (121T), of the mobility management and the bearer management for at least one of the plurality of mobile terminals (111). This contributes, for example, to relocation of mobility management and bearer management of a plurality of mobile terminals between network nodes regardless of the movement of those mobile terminals.

  • Patent number: 10484165
Abstract: Data words are received in parallel in response to an edge of a master clock signal and selected for serial output in response to a select signal. For a detected temporal offset of the serially output data words, the generation of the select signal and the master clock signal are controlled to correct for the temporal offset by shifting timing of the edge of the master clock signal and adjusting a sequence of values for the select signal that are generated within one cycle of the master clock signal. For a backward temporal offset, at least one count value in the sequence of values is skipped and the edge of the master clock signal occurs earlier in time. For a forward temporal offset, at least one count value in the sequence of values is held and the edge of the master clock signal occurs later in time.

  • Patent number: 10455061
Abstract: A smart NIC (Network Interface Card) is provided with features to enable the smart NIC to operate as an in-line NIC between a host's NIC and a network. The smart NIC provides pass-through transmission of network flows for the host. Packets sent to and from the host pass through the smart NIC. As a pass-through point, the smart NIC is able to accelerate the performance of the pass-through network flows by analyzing packets, inserting packets, dropping packets, inserting or recognizing congestion information, and so forth. In addition, the smart NIC provides a lightweight transport protocol (LTP) module that enables it to establish connections with other smart NICs. The LTP connections allow the smart NICs to exchange data without passing network traffic through their respective hosts.

  • Patent number: 10432503
Abstract: Client device prefixes are distributed to other network devices (e.g., routers) in the network inside a special container attribute of an update message. The container attribute is attached as an optional-transitive attribute to a location prefix announcement. A location prefix identifies the Autonomous System (AS) that originates the client prefixes. All of the ID prefixes packed in the container use the location prefix as the recursive next-hop towards them. As a result, all convergence in the network occurs for a small number of location prefixes, while at the same time, the location/ID mapping is being distributed using the Location best-paths. In some embodiments, the container attribute can utilize BGP update packets, or optimized NLRI/attribute packaging. Compression of the ID prefixes can also be used within the messages.
