Abstract: A method for producing, without the help of a substrate, a plurality of rooted cuttings includes inserting at least one unrooted cutting into pockets arranged successively in a longitudinal direction of a strip element. Each pocket has an opening at a top side facing a transverse direction and a bottom side that is at least partially closed. The strip element is formed at least in part of biodegradable material having a liquid retaining capacity of at least about 100 g liquid per 100 g of biodegradable material dry weight. The strip element has first and second wall-forming members fixed to each other in a spacer area adjacent each pocket and arranged to at least partly overlap in the longitudinal direction and to not fully overlap in the transverse direction. The first wall-forming member extends past the second wall-forming member in the transverse direction at the top side of each pocket.

Abstract: A hummingbird feeder includes a food storage cylinder and a feeding container, the feeding container includes a bottom shell and a cover body, the bottom shell is detachably connected with the food storage cylinder, and an annular flange is arranged on the bottom shell; the cover body is sealed and buckled on the annular flange and forms a feeding cavity; the cover body is provided with a feeding port and an inlet that are connected with the feeding cavity, and the inlet is connected with the food storage cylinder.

Abstract: A game feeder having a recessed game feed spinner plate, which discharges game feed through a relatively narrow opening. The spinner plate is rotated by an electric motor, which is housed in a protective enclosure within the game feeder, along with the battery and timer, and protected from animals. The narrow discharge opening minimizes feed loss by animals accessing the spinner plate. The game feeder may sit on the ground, or may be mounted on a support such as a pole or tree with mounting hooks and a bracket, and when mounted is especially resistant to feed loss or feeder damage by bears, feral hogs and the like.

The fog channel has a first fog channel end that is open, and a second fog channel end that is closed. The air channel is within the fog channel and has a first air channel end extending past the first fog channel end, and a second air channel end within the fog channel. The second air channel end is distanced away from the closed second fog channel end such that when vaporized liquid is sent from the first air channel end to the second air channel end, the vaporized liquid egresses the second air channel end and travels through the fog channel to the first fog channel end.
