  • Patent number: 11326853
Abstract: A free-floating rifle rail and barrel locking system that provides a barrel assembly and rail assembly, which is detachable from the main body of a rifle without tools. This is advantageous for quick field breakdown and/or rifle modification. The user has the option to disassemble the rifle for easy transport, to change barrel length, to change barrel caliber or change rail configurations. The rails are free-floating, meaning the rails do not come in contact with the barrel and thus do not impact the precision of the rifle.

  • Patent number: 11255636
Abstract: A locking adjustment device for adjusting a setting of an aimed optical device, such as a riflescope, locks at a home or baseline position to provide expedient feedback regarding an adjustment position of the adjustable setting. The device includes a knob mountable for rotation about a rotational axis when the adjustment device is installed on the aimed optical device, where the knob is rotatable about the rotational axis. The device further includes a catch that automatically locks the knob in the home or baseline position and prevents further rotation of the knob until the catch is released. A lock-release mechanism carried by the knob is manually actuable to disengage the catch and allow the knob to be manually rotated away from the locked position.

  • Patent number: 11150047
Abstract: Recoil-reducing firearm including a compensating inertial mass coupled to the firearm by a flexible and resilient mass support, where the mass support permits translation of the compensating inertial mass along a translation axis but substantially prevents movement of the compensating inertial mass in a direction orthogonal to the translation axis. The mass support is configured so that movement of the compensating inertial mass in a distal direction can at least partially dissipate energy imparted to the firearm by firing a round of ammunition and impelling the projectile down the barrel.

  • Patent number: 10143145
Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling apical growth of plants without cutting or pinching so as to increase productivity and efficiently utilize growth resources. A coiled frame is provided having the form of mirror image/opposed Fibonacci or Golden Spirals that expand from a first starting point and then contract back to a second starting point by an approximately similar number of quarter-turns at a selected pitch, the spring suitably being formed of a single length of wire. The apical growth tip of the plant is bent to meet the frame at selected locations and attached progressively as growth proceeds, using ties or other connectors. A stake inserted through the starting points of the spiral attaches the frame to the medium in which the plant is rooted. The stake is preferably angled so that the plant maximizes utilization of available light, for example, approximately 80° to the surface of the medium.
