  • Patent number: 7916210
Abstract: An art of a driving device for appropriately improving a response of an SMA actuator will be provided. A portable telephone 1 has an image stabilization system 10 for driving an image pickup unit 9 by a pair of driving members 15a and 15b functioning as actuators, thereby performing image stabilization. Driving members 15a and 15b are formed as a wire of shape memory alloy (SMA) and when a voltage is applied to both ends and a current is supplied, driving force is generated in the contraction direction. With respect to the wire diameter of the SMAs, the wire diameter of the SMAs is set between 10 ?m and 80 ?m, thus the mountability and response are improved appropriately.

  • Patent number: 7893962
Abstract: A printer periodically sends a request inquiry command “Interrupt In” to a digital camera at a high rate. The digital camera returns a printer status request, a print request, a print cancel request, etc., to the printer as a reply to “Interrupt In.” The camera operates as a usual storage class USB device for the printer except that the camera performs the described operation. Therefore, the printer makes a search for a directory in the camera and reads an image file, a print page layout file, etc., required for print on its own initiative.

  • Patent number: 7880804
Abstract: A weighted gain generator sets a high frequency information detecting frame in an imaging screen of an image sensor, after that, sets a reference point in the high frequency information detecting frame, and sets such a weighting that has correspondence to a distance between a position of a targeted pixel in the imaging video signal and the reference point to a gain of the targeted pixel. A gain adjuster makes the gain weighted by the weighted gain generator act on the high frequency component of the imaging video signal.

  • Patent number: 7804535
Abstract: In a solid-state imaging device meeting color image pickup, which an AD converter is mounted on the same chip, the circuit scale and the number of transmission signal lines are reduced and a reference signal suitable for color image pickup is fed to an AD conversion comparing portion. DA converter circuits for two pixels of a repeat unit of a separation filter in the horizontal row direction in a unit of readout are prepared as a functional portion to generate a reference signal for AD conversion. The DA converter circuits generate the reference signals having a tilt in accordance with a color property and varying from an initial value based on a non-color property such as a black reference and a circuit offset. Each reference signal independently outputted from the DA converter circuits is basically directly transmitted through common signal lines to a voltage comparing portion which corresponds to color filters having a common color property through independent signal lines.

  • Patent number: 7768564
Abstract: This invention can reduce the circuit scale by synthesizing OSD data to be superposed on a picture of each resolution by using common OSD data. According to this invention, a video resolution converter converts an HD (High Definition) video signal into an SD (Standard Definition) video signal such as an NTSC or PAL video signal. A memory controller receives a sync signal identical to an SD picture obtained by frequency-dividing an HD video signal, and a sync signal based on an SD video signal, and reads out OSD data (4 bits per pixel) from the memory on the basis of these sync signals. The OSD data read out on the basis of the SD video signal is synthesized with the SD video signal by an SD_OSD_MIX unit, and then output. The OSD data read out on the basis of the SD sync signal synchronized with the HD is multiplied by an integer by an OSD resolution converter, synthesized with an HD video signal by an HD_OSD_MIX unit, and then output.
