  • Patent number: 11557093
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media are disclosed for variably rendering graphical representations of co-users in VR environments based on social graph information between the co-users and a VR user. For example, the disclosed systems can identify a co-user within a VR environment. Furthermore, the disclosed systems can determine a social relevancy (e.g., a social relationship type) between the co-user and a VR user within the VR environment based on social graph information. Then, the disclosed systems can select and/or determine a graphical representation and/or other capabilities of the co-user within the VR environment based on the social relevancy. Additionally, the disclosed systems can display the co-user within the VR environment using the determined graphical representation type (e.g., from the perspective of the VR user).

  • Patent number: 11544832
Abstract: A simulator environment is disclosed. In embodiments, the simulator environment includes graphics generation (GG) processors in communication with one or more display devices. Deep learning neural networks running on the GG processors are configured for run-time generation of photorealistic, geotypical content for display. The DL networks are trained on, and use as input, a combination of image-based input (e.g., imagery relevant to a particular geographical area) and a selection of geo-specific data sources that illustrate specific characteristics of the geographical area. Output images generated by the DL networks include additional data channels corresponding to these geo-specific data characteristics, so the generated images include geotypical representations of land use, elevation, vegetation, and other such characteristics.

  • Patent number: 11529158
Abstract: A method is disclosed for removing a vascular occlusion, such as a clot, from a blood vessel. A tubular sheath is inserted into the vessel and a self-expanding Nitinol mesh filter is deployed from a distal end of the tubular sheath at a location proximal to a clot. An inner catheter is advanced through the tubular sheath and through the mesh filter for contacting the clot. An expandable agitation element is provided along a distal end portion of the inner catheter for cutting or chopping the clot, thereby facilitating removal of the clot and improving blood flow through the vessel. Resulting clot particles are captured by the mesh filter. Negative pressure may be applied along a proximal end portion of the sheath for aspirating remaining particles. • Patent number: 11504110
Abstract: A locking suture construct having suture material with a first end and a second end, each attached to a first body in a slidable manner, a constricting member formed in the second end of the suture material, and a bight in the suture material between the first end and the second end. The bight can be pulled through the constricting member around a second body to create a locking loop. The first end and the second end are passed through the locking loop. Pulling the first end increases a perimeter of the locking loop and moves the constricting member toward the second body. When the constricting member reaches the second body, pulling the first end reduces the perimeter of the locking loop and moves/rotates the constricting member around the second body toward the first body to hold the first body in relative position to the second body.
