  • Patent number: 11403647
Abstract: A system may provide virtual energy audits of one or more target buildings. The system may retrieve weather data and energy usage data specific to a given target building from a weather server and a utility server, respectively. The system may store predefined building characteristics corresponding to the given target building in local memory. Based on the weather data, energy usage data, and/or predefined building characteristics, the system may generate one or more building markers that characterize the energy usage and efficiency of the given target building. Building efficiency diagnostics and energy conservation prognostics may be generated based on the building markers and may be sent by the system to be displayed via a user interface of a client device. The energy conservation prognostics may include one or more energy conservation measure recommendations and corresponding predicted cost/energy savings.

  • Patent number: 11380143
Abstract: A method and system to determine a selected service response for servicing a damaged portion of a vehicle using a vehicle technician system. The selected service response is based upon a digital media file acquired with the vehicle technician system and representative of the damaged portion of the vehicle. The digital media file is communicated from the vehicle technician system to an authority such as a vehicle owner. The communication may be indirectly through an intermediary such as a vehicle service management system. Inasmuch as the digital media file is inherently unbiased, the authority evaluates the digital media file when considering the appropriate service, such as repairing or replacing a damaged part. The authority then selects a selected service response based at least in part on the digital media file and the selected service response is thereafter applied to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11361328
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide for reduced network footprint customer behavior analytics. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for reduced network footprint customer behavior analytics includes executing an analytics server in memory of a host computing system and loading into the memory a table. The table includes a multiplicity of entries, each entry correlating a reference to a DOM with a unique identifier and a Web browser brand. Thereafter, the analytics server performs DOM capture and replay of a Web site by receiving from over a computer communications network instead of a complete DOM, a message encapsulating both a unique identifier for a Web page of the site, and a Web browser brand rendering the page, identifying using the table a particular DOM referenced in correlation to the encapsulated identifier and browser brand, retrieving the particular DOM from a data store and performing replay utilizing the retrieved DOM.

  • Patent number: 11295314
Abstract: A system and method for management of automobile recalls functions through a unified recall campaign user interface (UI) web-accessible to an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The system utilizes both first-party (OEM) data and state registration data to identify vehicle owners by vehicle identification number (VIN). Enhancement data is used to provide contact information, whereby vehicle owners may be contacted concerning a recall repair through multiple channels. The system utilizes feedback during a recall and from previous recalls, as well as segmentation of vehicle owners by behavioral and attitudinal parameters, to optimize the channel(s) and message(s) used in order to maximize recall response. The system further utilizes various feeds of information concerning the recall to optimize recall repair parts distribution among dealers and dealer workforce utilization.

  • Patent number: 11295622
Abstract: A request for transport services that identifies a rider, an origin, and a destination is received from a client device. Eligibility of the request to be serviced by a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft is determined based on the origin and the destination. The client device is sent an itinerary for servicing the transport request including a leg serviced by the VTOL aircraft. Confirmation is received that the rider has boarded the VTOL aircraft and determination made as to whether the VTOL aircraft should wait for additional riders. Instruction are sent to the VTOL aircraft to take-off if one or more conditions are met.

  • Patent number: 11263563
Abstract: In an example embodiment, cohort-based generalized linear mixed effect model (GLMIX) training is performed to identify patterns across cohorts of users, rather than slicing across all users blindly without accounting for common characteristics of users. Thus, rather than performing GLMIX training at just the finest granular level (e.g., user-level and job-level) or the highest level (global level), a “medium” level of granularity is used to train the GLMIX model at cohort-level.

  • Patent number: 11238409
Abstract: Gaps in proficiencies may be identified within an enterprise. Understanding gaps in the existing workforce may help inform training, hiring, and firing decisions to ensure successful completion of the upcoming projects and deadlines. Using a multi-level model for each proficiency that accounts for enterprise needs as well as hiring, retraining, and the like, a relationship between proficiencies, projects, and employees over time may be generated as a multi-dimensional temporal model. The temporal model may be simulated to forecast gaps in proficiencies of the employed workforce. Recommendations regarding retraining, hiring, and termination can be made to help users remedy the deficiencies. Additionally, the proficiencies most valuable to the enterprise may be determined using a catalog of proficiencies to cluster the proficiencies into proficiency clusters for each job or job category and the proficiencies scored.

  • Patent number: 11074599
Abstract: A utility application for a mobile device inspects data packets from other mobile applications running on the device to gather and record usage data about those applications. Since users of the utility application may not reflect the true population for which the usage data is desired, a system de-biases the data reported from the utility applications using a machine learning model to predict demographics of the users of the utility application. To determine a training data set for the model, the system requests a user to provide a desired user attribute by way of an in-app questionnaire. This enables labeling utility usage data with the demographics, which can be weighted and extrapolated to determine usage across the population as a whole.
