Abstract: A computer implemented method of reducing a size of a message intercepted on a communication channel of a vehicle, comprising using one or more processors of a vehicular device. The processor(s) is adapted for receiving one or more of a plurality of messages intercepted by one or more devices adapted to monitor messages transmitted via one or more segments of one or more communication channels of a vehicle, applying one or more trained machine learning models to identify one or more of a plurality of data patterns in one or more of the messages, adjusting one or more of the messages by replacing each of the identified data pattern(s) with a respective predefined lossless representation having a reduced size compared to the identified data pattern and transmitting the adjusted message(s) to a remote system via one or more upload communication channels.

One exemplary embodiment is a method determining, with a plurality of agent nodes structured to communicate asynchronously in a distributed system, a first set of iterations including an iteration determined by each of the plurality of agent nodes; determining, with a first agent node of the plurality of agent nodes, a local vector clock; receiving, with the first agent node, a first iteration of the first set of iterations and a remote vector clock determined based on the first iteration; updating, with the first agent node, the local vector clock based on the received remote vector clock; and determining a first iteration of a second set of iterations based on the first set of iterations after determining all iterations of the first set of iterations have been received based on the local vector clock.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for filtering management application instances intended to manage hardware in a system, such as configuring a computing component. Filtering of the management application instances can be performed by a filtering proxy application configured to operatively sit between each management application instance and a management interface of the hardware. Filtering the management application instances may include substituting values or attributes in/transforming requests, responses, state information, event information, so that it appears to the computing component and each of the management application instances as if each of the management application instances has exclusive control of the computing component.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods of dynamically modifying execution environment for varying data or executables. The data or executables may be a multimedia file and the execution environment may be multimedia playback settings. In aspects, content comprising various media items may be received by a client device. The media items may be evaluated to determine a set of characteristics for the media items. The set of characteristics may be compared to a user's preferred configuration settings or previously-played media items. Based on the comparison, the set of characteristics may be altered to be consistent with the preferred configuration settings (e.g., a modified set of characteristics may be estimated). The modified media items may then be played under known playback settings. In aspects, the media item under consideration may be played as is using an estimated playback configuration to enable a user-preferable playback experience.

Abstract: A method comprises storing information corresponding to a plurality of files being written from a source storage device to a cloud storage platform in a file transfer operation. The method further comprises, in response to a failure of the file transfer operation, identifying from the information one or more file offsets successfully written to the cloud storage platform for one or more of the plurality of the files prior to the failure. The file transfer operation for the one or more of the plurality of files is resumed from the identified one or more file offsets.

Abstract: The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for providing an enterprise control plane for a data streaming service. The method may comprise providing a control plane user interface to enable a non-technical user to define a cluster logical abstraction dataset for an application, including a namespace, metadata, entitlement data, controls and governance data, and topics and size requirements related to the cluster and the application. The method may also include providing a representational state transfer (REST) interface to enable a technical user to specify cluster parameters using application programming interfaces (APIs). Abstract: A network device in a network may determine a tentative network address for a network interface of the network device and may determine whether the tentative network address is duplicative of any one of the network addresses in the network. If the tentative network address is duplicative of a network address assigned to another network interface in the network, the network device may store an indication of the other network interface. In response to receiving an indication that a new network address is assigned to the other network interface, the network device may re-determine whether the tentative network address is duplicative of any one of the network addresses in the network. If the network device determines that the tentative network address is not duplicative of any one of the plurality of network addresses in the network, the network device may assign the tentative network address to the network interface.

The ML model publisher can be invoked from within a ML modeling application. Responsive to an instruction received through the publication request form or page, the ML model publisher can access a data structure in memory used in training the ML model and populate the publication request form or page with attributes required by the ML model to run. Responsive to activation of a single-click publication actuator, the ML model publisher can publish the ML model directly from the ML modeling application to a target computing system by providing, to the target computing system, a path to a repository location where the ML model is stored and information on the attributes required by the ML model to run.

The load control device may be connected to a variety of local and remote devices, including lighting devices and smart appliances, as well as various cloud service platforms. The load control device may receive a voice command from a user. The load control device may transmit the voice command to a first cloud service platform for processing to determine an instruction included in the voice command. The determined instruction may be provided to a second cloud service platform connected to the first cloud service platform. The first and second cloud service platforms may be connected to a device to be controlled based on the voice command. The cloud service platforms can adjust an operation of the device based on the determined instruction.

Abstract: A method for facilitating operations in storage facilities. A server receives a service request for performing a first operation in the storage facility. The server identifies a first storage unit based on the service request. The server identifies an operation zone of the first storage unit for performing the first operation. The server determines an ergonomic score for each operator for performing the first operation based on characteristics of the operation zone and the fatigue level of the corresponding operator. The server allocates the first storage unit to a first operator for performing the first operation, based on the determined ergonomic scores, thereby ensuring an increased throughput of the storage facility.

Abstract: Clustering-based machine learning is utilized to generate and update permissions data in a computing system. The computing system logs permissions-related user activity for users of the system over time. Feature vectors are generated for the users based on the logs, where each feature corresponds to a specific permission or permission-related operation of the system. A clustering-based learning algorithm analyzes the feature vectors and generates clusters of similar users based on their feature vectors. The permissions of the users may be updated to reflect attributes of the clusters to which they were assigned. For example, the clusters may be utilized to seed and/or update access control groups or other permissions-related user groups in the system. Or, some or all permissions not used by any users within a cluster over a recent period of time may be automatically removed from any user in the cluster.

One method may include a method of network device provisioning without Internet access, the method including entering a pre-shared key (PSK) in a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) message, obtaining the PSK from a set of DHCP message options by an onboarding network device requesting to join a private network, presenting the PSK, by the onboarding network device, to a network management system (NMS) of the private network, validating the PSK by the NMS, and updating an inventory list of the NMS to include the onboarding network device in the inventory list.
