  • Patent number: 7465213
Abstract: A wild game call has a single inlet passage into which a user blows to generate sounds that simulate the natural sounds produced by the particular animal being called or attracted. The call includes a splitter that splits the single air inlet passage into a plurality of outlet passages. The sound either is generated in the single air passage or passes into the single air passage from the user and is directed into the plurality of outlet passages to produce the final output sound from the call. The plurality of outlet passages can be configured to produce subtle differences in the sound passing through a passage to provide a combination of sounds more closely simulating the natural animal sound than can be produced in only a single outlet passage. Various sound chamber can be added to the outlet passages to modify the sound emanating from that passage in a desired manner.

  • Patent number: 6786486
Abstract: A fishing board game comprising a gameboard, fish cards, color cards, bait boards, playing cards, game pieces and a pair of dice. The gameboard comprises a circuitous grid of interconnected fishing points, a portion of which are designated by color as fishing holes where fish may be caught. A fish card identifies a player's target fish which, if caught, increases the points associated with the catch. The color cards assign a point value to a catch which varies depending upon whether the player has selected an appropriate bait on the player's bait board. The playing cards are used to catch a fish, impair an opponent or assist a player. The dice are used to determine the number of spaces which a player may move and for generating random numbers required by the game rules.

  • Patent number: 6755716
Abstract: A projectile shooting toy comprises a body housing, a projectile delivery tube formed with an interior of the housing and a motor driven projectile firing apparatus having a trigger and projectile cannon pivotally mounted to the body housing. Activation of the trigger causes the cannon to move from a stored position to a deployed position, allowing a projectile to enter an inlet of the projectile cannon from the projectile delivery tube. Activation of the trigger further causes a firing ram to abruptly strike the projectile and fire it from the cannon. In a preferred embodiment, the projectile shooting toy is in the form of a helicopter.

  • Patent number: 6742511
Abstract: An archer's silent running roller guide is taught. The roller guide Is rendered silent by providing a v-shaped arrow guide wherein the v-shape is formed by the outer perimeters of two low inertia silent running roller bearings with a sound-muffling material wrapping the outer perimeter of the bearings. The v-shaped guide acting in cooperation with a coil spring serves to respond to the forces of displacement present at the instant the arrow is launched and to return the guide to its original position after the arrow is gone.

  • Patent number: 6675793
Abstract: An archery bow shock dampener includes three main components—a base, a vibration-absorbing body, and a securement ring. The vibration-absorbing body is formed of an elastomeric material, such as a visco-elastic polymer and is sandwiched between the base and a securement ring. Within the vibration-absorbing body is a central disk having a shaft mounted to one face and projecting outwardly through the vibration-absorbing body and through an opening in the securement ring. An integrated threaded shaft on the base permits the shock dampener to be mounted, in a conventional fashion, on to the body of a bow while the threaded shaft on the central disk permits additional accessories, such as stabilizers, to be connected to the dampener. The dampener also includes an integrated washer, disposed between the vibration-absorbing body and the securement ring, which may tightened against the vibration-absorbing body to eliminate any sag that may occur if additional accessories are mounted on the dampener.

  • Patent number: 6669528
Abstract: A compact one-handed thumb actuated friction type turkey call is formed generally of a rectangular, elongated hollow wooden sound chamber box assembly having longitudinally opposed side walls with a double longitudinally convex bottomed striker pivotally mounted to one end block at one end thereof for oscillation across the sound chambers opposed walls. The striker having the end opposite of the pivotal mount cut at an angle and having a rectangular shaped thumb tab affixed to the flat upper side angle cut end is actuated by the operator by holding the call across ones palm and pushing the thumb tab. A closed, looped, stretchable band biases the striker back to an open position which is slightly unparallel to the position of the sound chamber box when in the open position.

  • Patent number: 6616500
Abstract: A toy building set comprising building elements with at least two side walls that define a width for the building elements and a top face with coupling studs arranged in parallel rows on the top face such that the rows are spaced apart. The building elements have a bottom with a cavity for receiving coupling studs on other building elements. The toy building set comprises a toy vehicle with wheels that are mounted in pairs on opposed sides of the vehicle. The wheels in each pair are arranged at such distance from each other that there is room for an integer multiple of rows of coupling studs between the wheels, and that both wheels in a pair can simultaneously be in rolling contact with a top side of the building element.

  • Patent number: 6599168
Abstract: A turkey call apparatus includes a first portion with a slate pad mounted on a backing panel, which is mounted on an index finger using an elastic band. A second, U-shaped portion has a base integral with spaced apart legs, the terminal edges of which support felt strips. A striker is engaged with the base and positioned between the legs for contact between a free end of the striker and the slate pad when it is moved across the felt strips in a back-and-forth motion. A second elastic band is adapted for engaging a thumb so that the apparatus may be used with only one hand.

  • Patent number: 6579143
Abstract: There is provided in one embodiment a twisting figure that includes a head and body having a pair of arms and a lower leg section separately extending therefrom. A housing formed in the body contains a motor secured between a pair of horizontal plates. The plates are pivotally secured to the lower leg section. A combo gear is secured to the upper plate and in communication with the motor. The combo gear is arranged to reciprocate against a bumper that is secured to the lower leg section. When the combo gear reciprocates against the bumper, the pair of plates pivots back and forth causing the twisting figure to move therewith. The figure may also include a worm gear in communication with the motor and the pair of arms, such that when the motor rotates the pair of arms move upwardly or downwardly.

  • Patent number: 6544099
Abstract: A system, apparatus and article of manufacture which comprises a portable, sensor-activated, suspendable electronic device which produces human speech when stimulated. The device may be used in conjunction with punching bags or may also be worn about the belt of the user. The device is programmed with plural sounds and phrases which are played through an on-board speaker. It is equipped with facility for recording sounds and phrases. Sounds are toggled to be played by built-in sensors which may be sensitive to vibration, touch, light or other means. Sounds and phrases may be related to specific activity modes in which the user employs the apparatus. All sounds can be played, either serially or randomly through the self-contained speaker. Sounds, which may be motivational in nature, can be related to a specific user function, such as jogging, working out, boxing, punching a punching bag or other desired activity.

  • Patent number: 6478654
Abstract: A collision course including at least two vertically stacked looping track sections, each looping track section starts at a beginning area that connects to an upwardly extending curved section that peaks at an apex and then travels along a downwardly extending curved section. In order to stack the looping track sections vertically each looping track section is unsymmetrical. The downwardly extending curved sections feed into the beginning areas of the succeeding looping track section, and the downwardly extending curved section of the last (or third) looping track section feeds into the beginning area of the first looping track section. Each looping track section further intersects with another looping track section to define junctions. Gaps formed in each intersecting track section permit a vehicle to travel through the intersection unobstructively.
