    Abstract: The present invention concerns novel aromatic long chain alkenyl ethers and thioethers of the formula: ##EQU1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrocarbon group,R.sub.2, r.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each H or alkyl,R.sub.6 is an aromatic radical,Z is a divalent hydrocarbon group,Y is o or s, andw and n are zero or integers.The compounds are useful insecticides and acaricides.
