Abstract: An improved hand grip assembly for a portable cabinet that includes a finger receiving portion secured to a side wall of the cabinet and located on a line diagonally across the corner of the side wall near the top and front walls of the cabinet. For more control over movement of the cabinet there may also be provided a recess area in the top wall for receiving a person's thumb. This recess area provides a gripping rail for the thumb such that the rail is located between the thumb and the rest of a person's hand. For optimum control over movement of the cabinet a finger receiving portion and recess area are provided on both sides of the cabinet.

Abstract: The portable booth is comprised of a front wall and two side walls, to thereby define a three-sided structure. The front wall has an opening and a shelf attached thereto adjacent the lower edge of the opening. The booth is collapsible and adapted to be used for in-store demonstrations of products, cooking techniques, etc.

Abstract: An ammunition loading bench preferably including a cabinet movably mounted on supporting wheels and having a rigid top plate to which a loading press is connectable, with weights being connected to and hanging downwardly from the top plate to take forces exerted thereagainst, and with the plate and weights being detachable from the cabinet for use separately therefrom to mount a press with the plate resting on a generally horizontal support surface and held downwardly thereagainst by placement of the weights on the upper side of the plate. Desirably, in both uses, a foot pedal is connected to the plate, directly or indirectly, to exert downward force thereagainst resisting upward forces exerted by the press against the portion of the plate to which the press is mounted.

Abstract: A tape cassette holder for use in a vehicular environment includes a protective housing having a turntable mounted therein, the turntable having an array of elastomeric foam material thereon that provides cavities for receiving and restraining the tape cassettes within the housing. The housing has either a side or top loading opening which can be registered with the cavities by rotating the turntable. A mounting bracket feature enables the housing to be rigidly supported in or upon a vehicle in a variety of angular positions.

Abstract: A jalopy shelf for bottles having characteristics of conveneint use and beautiful decoration can be installed in the restaurant, living room or other recreation places.This jalopy shelf is characterized in that two hangers are provided on the car side so as to hang the jalopy onto the wall and an openable hood is fitted on the bonnet of such a jalopy. The upper portion of the bonnet may be placed with bottles, cups, forks and knives; the lower portion thereof may be designed as drawer type which can be open at the front end of said jalopy. Several holders are provided on the driver's cushion and tread so as to support the wine bottles thereon. A pushable plate is further engaged beneath the tread so that it may give the space to store more bottles when the plate is pulled out.

Abstract: A patient lift board for manipulation by a single attendant of a patient having back complications and being confined to a bed. The lift board is rigid having one smooth side for sliding contact with the bed surface. The opposing side of the rigid board is covered with a padding for contacting a patient from a point on the patient's back at the lower end of the spine to a point at the back of the patient's head. A plurality of hand holds are provided about the periphery of the rigid board for manual engagement by the attendant. A wedge member is configured with horizontally opposed base and apex and having a side for contacting the bed surface and an opposing side for contacting the smooth surface of the rigid board, thereby elevating the patient's head above the bed surface while simultaneously supporting the patient's back.

Abstract: A camping pack which comprises a tent assembly, a sleeping bag assembly, each of said assemblies being joined to each other, said assemblies forming in non-assembled position a substantially plainer, sheet-like article having four panels, each of said panels having at each end thereof a flap, and said pack including fastening means for securing said flaps and panels together into one or the other of said assemblies.

Abstract: A buckle having a male member insertable into a female member, the male member having a rigid portion and the female member having a flexible portion which engages the rigid portion to produce the locking action and the male member has a separate flexible portion which overlies the flexible female portion so that pressure applied to the flexible male portion moves the flexible female portion to unlock the buckle by moving it away from the rigid male portion.

Abstract: Slide assembly including a drawer slide and a frame slide with interconnecting gusset means. In one embodiment there is a single gusset. In another body there are multiple gussets. Gusset mounts continuous loop cable for driving slides upon opening and closing of the drawer. Cable material and pin-eye type couplers make for easy assembly and automatic tautness.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical dosage distribution apparatus having at least one enclosure which includes an opening in one side thereof, a door for closing the opening and having thereon locking means for locking the door in its closed position. A plurality of trays are provided, each tray including a plurality of compartments for receiving a predetermined single dosage of medication. Means are associated with each of the compartments for identifying the recipient of each dosage. Rack means are provided in the enclosure for removably receiving the trays. A wheeled cart including frame means slidably receives the enclosures and includes locking means for securing the enclosure in its received position in the frame.

Abstract: A storage and display system includes a plurality of bins adapted to be stacked and interlocked in a vertical array and tier-supporting members including at least two brackets adapted to be detachably interlocking to form horizontal and vertical supporting surfaces for the bins. Each bin consists of a bottom, a substantially upstanding front wall and an upstanding rear wall. Each bottom of the bins has a front flange member and a rear flange member arranged on its outside surface. Each upstanding rear wall of the bins has an additional flange member positioned on its upper end. A first bin is positioned onto the supporting members by interengaging the front and rear flange members on the bottom of the first bin with hook-shaped projections on the brackets.

Abstract: A fastener structure which is especially desirable for use with laminated members such as graphite fiber members in which the fibers are secured together with an epoxy resin can be constructed utilizing a layer of a thermoplastic adhesive on at least one heat conductive functional part of the fastener. The fastener is preferably constructed so as to include a plate capable of being located against a surface of the member, a shank extending through a hole in the member and a holding part or element for securing the shank so that the plate is held against the surface of the member. The precise fastener used may be formed as a grommet, a rivet, a nut element or the like. Such a fastener can be constructed so as to provide corner reinforcement for the laminated member.

Abstract: A flexible self-locking handle for mounting modules or the like to a rack or card cage assembly. The handle end portions including means for lockably engaging said rack and including a deformable detent for restraining movement of said handle to that locked position. By flexing said handle, the end portions are translated inwardly to a second detent position thereby releasing the locking condition relevant to the rack assembly and providing a convenient handle for removal of said module from the rack assembly.

It includes a stationary housing having an annular opening therethrough adapted for mounting generally coaxially with the pipe opening in the rotary table. The stationary housing has a conduit therein for transmitting pressurized fluid. The assembly includes a rotary housing having an annular opening therethrough, which housing is adapted for mounting generally coaxially with the opening in the rotary table and for rotation therewith. Abstract: A pile splice is disclosed which completely satisfies the need for such a device which will enable structural analysis of the loads and stresses induced therein, which is simple and economical; which may be readily completed in the field with a minimum of construction equipment and comprises a pair of mating plates having machined abutting surfaces, one each carried by the pile section and embodying an outwardly projecting flange circumscribing the joint area. A tension band is applied to the flanges being comprised of two halves which are joined together at diametrically opposed points by upper and lower fillet welds so that the only stress in the bands is hoop stress induced by tension or bending and shear and the mating plates act in compression as a solid joint whereby all of the loads and resulting stresses in the joint section may be calculated by accepted stress-strain calculations.
