Abstract: A side rail for a cargo bed of a vehicle enables the fitting or mounting of a broad range of automotive accessories to a roll top cover. The side rail comprises: an elongate body that defines a longitudinal axis; an axially extending drive channel disposed at a medial side of the body and defining an opening therein for receiving a drive chain, the drive channel having a recessed inner portion and a stepped outer portion adjacent the opening; an axially extending first support channel recessed in an upper side of the body and opening upwardly therefrom; and an axially extending second support channel recessed in the upper side of the body and opening upwardly therefrom, the second support channel disposed laterally adjacent to the first support channel.

Abstract: The rack mounted weather shield is an awning. The rack mounted weather shield is configured for use with an automobile. The rack mounted weather shield attaches to a cargo rack. The rack mounted weather shield creates a weather protected space along a side of the automobile. The rack mounted weather shield is used for entering and exiting the automobile in inclement weather. The rack mounted weather shield extends and retracts. The rack mounted weather shield comprises a plurality of fans, a plurality of control circuits, and a remote control. Each of the plurality of fans creates the weather protected space on a side of the automobile. Each of the plurality of control circuits extends and retracts an individual fan selected from the plurality of fans. The remote control is a radio frequency device that controls the operation of the plurality of control circuits.

Abstract: A cover for covering at least partially a vehicle. The vehicle includes a straddle seat and a footrest extending along a lateral side of the vehicle. The cover includes a cover body and a clip connected to the cover body. The clip is configured to be connected to the footrest of the vehicle. The clip includes: a clip body fastened to the cover body; an upper connector extending from an inner side of the clip body and configured to engage an upper side of the footrest so as to restrict forward movement of the clip relative to the footrest; and a lower connector extending from an inner side of the clip body and configured to engage a lower side of the footrest. The clip is configured such that, when the clip is connected to the footrest, an edge portion of the footrest is located between the upper and lower connectors.

Abstract: To provide a vehicle rear portion structure including a rear bumper cover disposed at the back of a vehicle, and a rear undercover. The rear undercover covers the lower surface of the body. The rear end portion of the rear undercover is connected to the lower end portion of the rear bumper cover. The rear undercover has a through hole formed on its rear portion. The rear bumper cover includes a protrusion protruding further downward of the vehicle than does the rear undercover, and an inclined portion connecting the rear edge portion of the through hole of the rear undercover and the protrusion.

Abstract: An automated vehicle cover assembly includes a disk that is positioned on a roof of a vehicle. A canopy unit is provided and the canopy unit is movably attached to the disk. The canopy unit is positionable in a deployed position having the canopy unit radiating outwardly from the disk to cover the vehicle for protection against sunlight and precipitation. Conversely, the canopy unit is positionable in a retracted position having the canopy unit positioned beneath the cover. A remote control is in wireless communication with the canopy unit and the remote control actuates the canopy unit into the deployed position or the retracted position.

Abstract: A boarding/deboarding support structure includes a lower door having an upper end configured to be rotated and opened with respect to a bottom surface of a vehicle body, a lower trim located inside the lower door, the lower trim having an upper end configured to be rotated and opened with respect to a floor of the vehicle body, and an absorbing member having at least a portion supported by the lower door and a rear surface of the lower trim, the absorbing member being configured to absorb energy, wherein the lower trim is located between the floor of the vehicle body and an inner surface of the lower door, and wherein, when the lower door is opened, the absorbing member is deployed to be located between the lower trim and the lower door.

Abstract: A system for covering a load on trailer with a tarp includes a post assembly coupled to a first lateral side of the trailer, a supporting assembly supported in a stake pocket on the first lateral side of the trailer and holding the post assembly vertically upright, and a roller assembly supported at an upper end of the post assembly such that the roller assembly extends horizontally and is aligned with the first lateral side of the trailer. The roller assembly supports a tarp such that the tarp can be pulled up along the first lateral side of the trailer, over the roller assembly, over a load on the trailer, and down toward an opposite second lateral side of the trailer.

Abstract: A trailer and boat covering combination system includes a trailer including a frame having a front end, a first lateral member and a second lateral member. A plurality of wheels is rotatably attached to and extends downwardly from the frame. A pair of supports is attached to the trailer such that each of the first and second lateral members has one of the supports attached thereto. A spindle is attached to and extends between the supports. The supports are pivotable forwardly and rearwardly relative to the trailer such that the spindle is movable over the trailer. The supports are biased toward an upright position. A covering is positioned on the spindle and is unwound off of the spindle to cover a boat positioned on the trailer. The covering is wound back onto the spindle to store the covering on the spindle.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to accessories configured to be supported by door strikers of motor vehicles. In particular, the accessories may be mounted to a motor vehicle when a traditional, or factory, door is removed. Some example accessories are useable as a step when mounted to the vehicle, and are also useable as a tool (i.e., as a shovel, flashlight, bit driver, socket wrench, and/or hex wrench) when removed from the vehicle.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to an anti-icing and ultra-violet (UV) reflective apparatus for vehicle windshields and windows. The apparatus may include a housing including a hinged door covering interior components contained therein. The components may include a cover component coupled to an interior of the housing that stores a cover for covering a vehicle windshield and vehicle windows and that reflects UV radiation. The components may further include a roller component, coupled to an interior of the housing, that stores a set of rollers in an anti-freezing compound utilized for coating the cover. The components may also include a turning mechanism coupled to the cover component through an exterior side of the housing that extends the cover onto the vehicle windshield and/or the vehicle windows to protect the at least one of the vehicle windshield and the one or more vehicle windows against freezing and the UV radiation.

Abstract: A crank assembly for operating a tarpaulin manipulator used for extending and retracting a tarpaulin respectively across and from a top aperture of a vehicle container. The crank assembly includes a crank and a crank assembly shaft for transmitting rotations of the crank to the tarpaulin manipulator through a transmission assembly. The crank can be moved between a mounted configuration in which the crank protrudes axially from the crank assembly shaft and a stowed configuration in which the crank is folded over the crank assembly shaft.
