The capsule comprises an aluminum capsule body having a side wall and an outwardly extending flange and a sealing member at the outwardly extending flange for providing a fluid sealing contact with an enclosing member of a beverage preparation device. The beverage preparation device comprises an annular element having a free contact end which may be provided with a plurality of radially extending open grooves. The sealing member is integral with the outwardly extending flange and comprises at least one projection projecting from the outwardly extending flange. The projection comprising a projection top and is configured such that its projection top exerts a radial force on the free contact end of the annular element if the capsule is positioned in the enclosing member of the beverage preparation device and the enclosing member is closed by means of a closing member of the beverage preparation device.

Abstract: The capsule includes: a cup defining an internal volume and closed at the top by a lid fixed to an upper edge; a sealing disc fixed internally to the cup on a lower edge, adapted to divide the internal volume into a containing volume for the food product to be infused or dissolved, and a mixing volume for optimal mixing of the food substance in the extraction fluid, said sealing disc, being adapted to seal the containing volume tightly at the base and then to detach from the lower edge due to the pressure exerted by the fluid; a mixing element positioned in the cup between the sealing disc and the lower wall, adapted to create vorticity in the fluid to allow a correct mixing of the food substance.

Abstract: The aim of the present application is to register a conventional beverage capsule refilling device of the type that comprises a cup bindable to a sealing sheet; and a beverage capsule refilling method, such that it makes it possible to reuse the existing capsules, generally made of plastic, in a simple, quick, clean, reliable and ecological manner.

The capsule (1) comprises a cup-shaped containment body (2), in turn comprising a tubular lateral wall (21) and a bottom portion (22), and a closing element (29) that closes the top of the containment body (2). The bottom portion (22) has a dispensing hole (26) and the containment body (2) defines a containment chamber (20) inside itself. Abstract: A reclosable flexible package is described that includes an inner film layer, an outer film layer laminated to the inner film layer, and reclose region defined in a portion of package film layers. The reclose region includes pressure sensitive adhesive disposed between the inner and outer film layers. A number of cut lines are provided in the outer film layer in the reclose region, such that the user, by manipulating the package film layers at the reclose region, can reveal the underlying layer of pressure sensitive adhesive. Once the pressure sensitive adhesive of the reclose region is exposed, the action of the user can serve to adhere the pressure sensitive adhesive to itself and/or other portions of the film, such that the package is cinched in the area of the reclose region and maintains the remnants of the package contents within the reclosed package for later use.

Abstract: A capsule for preparing beverages in an automatic beverage preparation device, comprising an insert, which divides the capsule inner volume into an upper chamber intended to contain a beverage preparation substance, and a lower chamber for beverage collection and outflow. The insert comprises a relatively rigid disc, which is provided with a number of passages designed to establish a communication between the upper chamber and the lower chamber, and has, on the lower face of the disc facing the lower chamber, some beverage outflow channels communicating with the upper chamber through the passages. The/each metal end is seamed onto the container body, and the resulting container assembly is conveyed on a conveyor adjacent to an induction sealing head and then adjacent to a cooling device. A pressure belt engages the upper end of the container assembly to keep the metal end from coming off the container body during the induction heating and cooling processes.

An annular trough remains between the jacket wall of the extraction capsule and the jacket wall of the holding capsule. Abstract: A closure device for firing an additive into a carbonated beverage bottle with a neck comprises a cap member and a housing. The cap member includes a pressurised tank containing the additive and a propellant and has a bottom aperture. The housing engages with the neck and includes a plug member which engages with the bottom aperture. The cap member can be lifted relative to the housing from a first armed or closed position in which the plug member closes the bottom aperture to a second firing position in which the plug member provides a communication path from the tank through a nozzle in the plug member.
