  • Patent number: 10533670
Abstract: A valve member having a first flow path and a second flow path, and configured to control both flow paths through a filter assembly. The valve member allows control of the two flow streams in a compact space compared to traditional valves. The valve member may require less space to operate due to its compact nature as compared to traditional external valves with multiple handles that each require space to rotate. The valve member may also be used to easily shut-off flow to a filter of a filter assembly without limiting use of another filtration assembly in the same filtration system. Alternatively, the valve member may shut off flow to a corresponding filter of a stand-alone filter assembly that is not connected to another filter assembly. Also, the valve member allows less expensive and more lightweight filtration systems.

  • Patent number: 10478759
Abstract: A filter element has a preferably multilayer structure of a pleated filter medium (3) with a plurality of individual filter pleats (5, 7). Due to an alternating sequence of filter pleats (5) with a first pleat height (h1) and filter pleats (7) with a second pleat height (h2), more effective filter surfaces are available than with filter pleats with a uniform pleat height. Upon throughflow by a fluid to be filtered, a lower surface load for the filter medium (30 and lower passage speed of the fluid are present during filtration. A static loading of the filter medium (3) during operation of the filter is then reduced. A hydraulic circuit has such a filter element (1).

  • Patent number: 10427070
Abstract: A triple layer non-plugging screen for use with a vibrating screening machine to filter particles from a liquid has an upper filtering layer made of warp and shute wires that intersect to form an array of small openings, a lower strengthening layer having an array of large openings, and an anti-plugging layer. The anti-plugging layer is sandwiched between the upper filtering and lower strengthening layers and is made of warp and shute wires that intersect to form an array of openings. The upper filtering and anti-plugging layers are oriented within the screen so that at least one of the warp and shute wires of the anti-plugging layer obstructs at least some of the openings in the upper filtering layer. This reduces the likelihood of entrapment of undesirable particles in the obstructed openings of the upper filtering layer.
