Patent number: 11944951Abstract: Calcium silicate hydrate nanoparticles are combined with ammonia control materials (e.g. alum, aluminum chloride, ferric chloride, ferric sulfate, and/or sodium bisulfate) to create a phosphorus-binding composition. In the preferred embodiment, the composition is applied to poultry litter, poultry bedding or other non-aqueous substrates that are at least partially comprised of animal manure. The composition binds with phosphorus to at least reduce the amount of phosphorus in runoff water or in leachate from fields fertilized with treated manure. The combining of the calcium silicate hydrate nanoparticles with the ammonia control products has a surprising and unexpected result. The calcium silicate hydrate-ammonia control material mix reduces soluble phosphorus more than either component of the mix alone.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2021Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: The United States of America, as represented by the Secretary of AgricultureInventor: Philip A. Patent number: 11937174Abstract: An access point provides a hidden wireless network that is configured with a set of SSIDs so that the hidden network is discoverable with multiple different SSIDs. Based on detection of a probe request frame which indicates an SSID from a device, the access point determines if the SSID for which network availability is requested matches one of the SSIDs in the set. If the SSID does match one of those included in the set, the SSID correctly identifies the hidden network, and the access point responds with a probe response frame. Devices connected to the hidden network may have initiated the establishment of the connection with a different SSIDs despite the hidden network being a single wireless network. Scaling the number of supported SSIDs therefore does not impact the frequency with which the access point transmits beacon frames for the hidden network.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2021Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Palo Alto Networks, Inc.Inventor: Ta Chien Lin

Patent number: 11931936Abstract: In an injection process, molten resin is successively injected from a first flow channel and a second flow channel connected with each other in order into a cavity of a metal mold. High-temperature resin existing in the first flow channel is injected in advance into the cavity as a part of a single shot of molten resin to later form a skin layer of a molded article. Other low temperature resin near a flowable limit existing in the second flow channel is subsequently injected into the cavity as another part of the single shot of molten resin to later form a core layer of the molded article. A low temperature resin remaining in the first flow channel when injection is completed is warmed to be a high-temperature resin before the next cycle, thereby allowing successive molding of molded articles.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 2022Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Tohru Higuchi, Masato Ichikawa, Tsuyoshi Arai, Jun Hasebe, Atsushi Kawamura, Tomoyoshi Murata
