In response, the wagering session may be provided or initiated. The optically identifying modules respectively correspond in position to detection regions of the board. Each of the optically identifying modules includes a light emitter that can emit light toward the corresponding detection region and a light receiver that can receive light reflected by the corresponding detection region. When any one of the detection regions is in an unoccupied mode, the corresponding optically identifying module can emit an unoccupied signal. When any one of the detection regions is in an occupied mode, the corresponding optically identifying module enables an identification signal that corresponds to the piece type of the corresponding game piece to be emitted therefrom.

The supplemental information can include safety warnings, maintenance information, or other information. The electronic gaming device can detect user interactions with the electronic gaming device, such as using sensors or a player interface that includes a touchscreen. The user interactions can be compared with a condition associated with the supplemental information. Feedback, such as visual, audio, or haptic feedback, or a combination thereof, can be provided to indicate to the user whether the condition is satisfied. Numerous additional aspects are disclosed.

For example, the peripheral device may be illuminated with a unique color for each of a bill validator being offline, a cashbox being near full and a player being near to earning a promotion. The system and method may also be used to visually communicate information related to player tracking, mobile wallet, security issues and any other information concerning a EGM, player or casino.

In various embodiments, a campaign is generated based on a user's request. Each campaign is associated with teams made of groups of users that each have values. A piece of electronic media from a user is received along with a commitment value and selection of a team to support. A user profile is generated based on the associated team, the piece of electronic media, and commitment value. Based on the commitment value, the values for the user profile, team, and campaign are modified. A leaderboard graphical user interface (GUI) associated with the selected team and generated in part on the modified campaign, team, and user profile values is provided for display.

Prior to performing a withdrawal transaction of the wager amount for the play request, the system generate a wager outcome for the play request by comparing the game source data with the game play data set. In particular, the initial deal may include an access ticket to the linked deal, and the access ticket allows the management system to grant the player a play in the linked deal. Both the initial deal and the linked deal can have prizes, and the management system may resolve those prizes, as necessary.
