  • Patent number: 9098870
Abstract: Video drive-by data provides a street level view of a neighborhood surrounding a selected geographic location. A video and data server farm incorporates a video storage server that stores video image files containing video drive-by data corresponding to a geographic location, a database server that processes a data query received from a user over the Internet corresponding to a geographic location of interest, and an image processing server. In operation, the database server identifies video image files stored in the video storage server that correspond to the geographic location of interest contained in the data query and transfers the video image files over a pre-processing network to the image processing server. The image processing server converts the video drive-by data to post-processed video data corresponding to a desired image format and transfers the post-processed video data via a post-processing network to the Internet in response to the query.

  • Patent number: 9098894
Abstract: A method includes inspecting a wafer to find a first potential defect having a first wafer coordinate, and capturing a patch image of the first potential defect from the wafer. The patch image is compared with patterns of a wafer representation to find a first layout coordinate of a location in the wafer representation, wherein the location in the wafer representation corresponds to a location of the first potential defect in the wafer. A reference feature in the wafer representation is selected, wherein the reference feature in the wafer representation has a second layout coordinate. A coordinate difference between the first layout coordinate and the second layout coordinate is calculated. The coordinate difference is subtracted from the first wafer coordinate to calculate a second wafer coordinate of a reference feature in the wafer, wherein the reference feature in the wafer representation corresponds to the reference feature in the wafer.

  • Patent number: 9025837
Abstract: An image processing technique includes acquiring a main image of a scene and determining one or more facial regions in the main image. The facial regions are analyzed to determine if any of the facial regions includes a defect. A sequence of relatively low resolution images nominally of the same scene is also acquired. One or more sets of low resolution facial regions in the sequence of low resolution images are determined and analyzed for defects. Defect free facial regions of a set are combined to provide a high quality defect free facial region. At least a portion of any defective facial regions of the main image are corrected with image information from a corresponding high quality defect free facial region.

  • Patent number: 8923653
Abstract: Super-resolution processing is regarded as a kind of intersample interpolation process and performed by using a linear interpolation filter designed according to sampled-data control theory. In an error-system model used in the process of designing the filter, a pre-filter is disposed before a sampler and a post-filter is disposed after the zero-order hold in a signal restoration system. At least either one of the characteristic Q(s) of the pre-filter or the characteristic P(s) of the post-filter is designed to be a low-pass characteristic, whereby the gain of the characteristic K(z) of a digital filter within a middle-to-high frequency range is raised. Raising the gain makes jaggies more prominent. To reduce this effect, in an actual processing system, the image to be processed is passed through a low-pass filter to reduce high-frequency components before the linear interpolation is performed.
