  • Patent number: 11257030
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe aggregating RFID events before determining a location of an RFID tagged item. For example, a warehouse may be divided into different zones in which the RFID tagged item is tracked. An inventory tracking system may require that at least one RFID reader detect the RFID tagged item a threshold number of times before determining that the item is at the location corresponding to the reader. Thus, even if RFID readers at neighboring locations in the zone also detect the RFID tagged item, the inventory tracking system determines the location with the most RFID events is the most likely location of the package. By aggregating RFID events, the inventory tracking system can provide a more accurate location of the RFID tagged item in a noisy environment or an environment with a high density of RFID readers.

  • Patent number: 11250377
Abstract: A device and a method for supplying spare parts of an aircraft to a maintenance and/or repair center, such as a hangar. From data of previous transactions with the spare parts and from technical data relating to the spare parts, probabilities are calculated that certain spare parts are needed together, enabling them to be supplied together. According to a further aspect, different vending machines at the maintenance and/or repair center are proposed, with which the spare parts for a maintenance or repair task can be supplied together.

  • Patent number: 11238406
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and related method are provided for operating a digital inventory system. The method comprises receiving, from an imaging device, an image comprising an object and performing object recognition on the image to determine an object type of the object. The method further comprises determining when the object is to be added to an inventory database based on inventory rules stored in a memory of the digital inventory system. When these rules indicate that the object is to be added, the object is added to the inventory database. The method determines a value of the inventory object based on valuation information related to other objects of a same or similar object type. The value is associated with the inventory object. The inventory object is displayed along with its value on a computer display.

  • Patent number: 11225954
Abstract: A vacuum generation system and method utilizes a dual-action piston-cylinder vacuum generation system to evacuate a vacuum storage. Saturated steam of higher than ambient pressure is inserted into a condensation cylinder with two chambers separated by a movable piston. Steam moves the piston to fill one chamber while expel gaseous content and condensate out of the other chamber. Steam is then condensed to a rough vacuum (RV) state by cooling. By repeated operations of inserting and condensing steam in each chamber alternatively, a sustained vacuum generation is achieved. A multi-level vacuum storage is also disclosed with a high vacuum (HV) storage placed inside a rough vacuum (RV) storage to reduce leakage as well as mechanical stresses. The vacuum generation system and method is extended for creating a prime mover or actuator to drive vacuum pumps maximizing thermal energy usage for increased vacuuming capacity.
