    Abstract: A speed limit display device for a vehicle, includes an indicator configured to display information related to a speed limit of a road; an image obtaining device configured to capture an image of a landscape and obtain image data of the landscape; and an electronic control unit configured to detect the speed limit indicated on a traffic sign in the captured landscape, and display the speed limit on the indicator. The electronic control unit is configured to i) determine whether a predetermined condition is satisfied when the traffic sign is detected, the predetermined condition including a condition that a distance between the vehicle and the traffic sign be less than a predetermined distance, ii) display the detected speed limit when the predetermined condition is satisfied, and iii) not display the detected speed limit when the predetermined condition is not satisfied.

An electrical activity monitoring apparatus is also provided for monitoring the electrical status of at least one electrical device connected to a power supply network by a respective power cable provided with an RFID sensor device. The electrical activity monitoring apparatus comprises an RFID reader for communicating with the RFID sensor device.

The method comprises: broadcasting a connecting message in a WPAN at the door-lock device; controlling a mobile device to establish a connection with the door-lock device via the WPAN when receiving the connecting message at the computer program; sending an unlocking command via the connection at the computer; and unlocking a door-lock thereon when receiving the unlocking command at the door-lock device. This application can omit the operations which the householder needs to do manually on the mobile device or the door-lock device, and effectively improves the convenience of use and reduces the waiting time of completing unlocking the door-lock.

    Abstract: A vehicle includes a gateway controller configured to interface a diagnostic port to a vehicle communication network. In response to a perimeter alarm system being in an armed state, transfer of messages from the diagnostic port to the vehicle communication network is inhibited. A change session diagnostic request received from the diagnostic port is transferred to the vehicle communication network in response to vehicle speed being less than a threshold and an ignition switch begin in a run position. The transfer of the change session diagnostic request is otherwise inhibited unless intended for a module designated for reprogramming keys.
