Abstract: A frictionless service carriage system including: a shaft 1 having a first 2 and a second 3 helix-shaped guide in its surface, each helix shaped-guide 2, 3 defining a linear movement along the longitudinal axis of the shaft 1 of a carriage 4 in opposite directions and both helix shaped-guides 2, 3 crossing each other 2, 3 along the longitudinal axis of the shaft 1, wherein the carriage 4 includes a movable element 5 located successively in each of the helix-shaped guides 2, 3 and movable along the guides 2, 3, the movable element 5 comprising a set of rolling elements 6 along the first or second helix-shaped guide 2, 3 of the shaft 1 and configured such that in a crossing with the other helix-shaped guide 2, 3, the set of rolling elements 6 has at least two contact points with the helix-shaped guide 2, 3 for which it rolls.

Abstract: A coating film transfer tool may include a casing that houses a feeding reel around which a transferable tape is wound and a winding reel; and a transfer head having a main body portion arranged in a front side which is one side of a front-rear direction of the casing to extend in a left-right direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction in a front end portion and provided with a pressing edge portion adapted for transferring the coating film to a transfer target surface. The casing or a base member housed in the casing may have a protruding tip that extends to the transfer head side and is connected to the transfer head. The protruding tip may press a part of an area including a center of the left-right direction of the main body portion to the transfer target surface side in the event of a transfer.
Abstract: A holding arrangement for holding a tissue roll in a dispenser, to a dispenser and a method is disclosed. The holding mechanism comprises a holding mechanism for holding a tissue roll in a first tissue roll position; wherein the holding mechanism comprises a first holding element for engaging a first end of an axle of the tissue roll and a second holding element for engaging a second end of the axle of the tissue roll; a diameter sensor; and a shift mechanism adapted for shifting the holding mechanism, in particular the first and second holding elements, from a hold position to a release position and vice versa; wherein a distance between the first holding element and the second holding element in the release position is larger than a distance between the first holding element and the second holding element in the hold position.
Abstract: A reel for a taped series of electronic components includes first and second reel halves. The first reel half includes a first protruding portion and a first flange portion extending radially outward from an end of the first protruding portion. The second reel half includes a second protruding portion and a second flange portion extending radially outward from an end of the second protruding portion. The first and second flange portions each include an outermost end extending in a different direction from the radial direction.
Abstract: The present invention embraces a method and apparatus for improving ribbon replacement for thermal printers. The present invention also applies to replacement of other media in associated printers. The improvement is achieved based a ribbon adapter or media adapter that is designed for two conditions: 1) catch condition for printing, and 2) release condition for replacing the media in the printer. By a single click or press of a button, a user can switch between the two conditions. The printing operation occurs during the catch condition. The catch condition ensures that there is no or little relative movement between media core and media adapter. The media adapter can also support different diameter media cores. The release condition is implemented when the user replaces media. The release condition can provide a relatively easy replacement of a media without a significant force or pressure.
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing portions of a continuous web of tissue from a tissue roll is disclosed. Further, the invention relates to a method for dispensing portions of a continuous web of tissue from a tissue roll. The dispenser comprises a first tissue roll position for receiving a tissue roll and a second tissue roll position for receiving a tissue roll; an output mechanism for supplying portions of tissue; a transfer mechanism for releasably holding and transferring an end of a tissue roll in the first tissue roll position to the output mechanism; wherein the transfer mechanism is adapted to transfer the end of the tissue roll in the first tissue roll position to the output mechanism when the second tissue roll position is empty.
Abstract: A film wrap dispensing device for ergonomically wrapping articles includes a base, a first tube, and a handgrip assembly. The first tube is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from the base and is configured to be inserted into a tubular core of a roll of film wrap. The handgrip assembly is selectively couplable to an upper end of the first tube and is configured to retain the roll of film wrap on the first tube. The handgrip assembly also is configured to be grasped in hands of a user, positioning the user to move the base and the first tube around an object so that the roll of film wrap rotates around the first tube while dispensing film from the roll onto the object.
Abstract: Improvements to sheet product dispensers configured to hold multiple product rolls are provided herein. An example sheet product dispenser comprises a housing defining a dispensing position and a reserve position. The housing is configured to hold a first roll of sheet product in the dispensing position and a second roll of sheet product in the reserve position, where a user can receive a portion of the first roll of sheet product that is in the dispensing position. The sheet product dispenser includes a roll replacement feature that is configured to enable installation of a replacement roll of sheet product into the reserve position. The sheet product dispenser includes a restrictive access feature configured to prevent installation of the replacement roll of sheet product directly into the dispensing position in an instance in which the roll replacement feature enables installation of the replacement roll of sheet product in the reserve position.

Abstract: A data storage tape cartridge includes a housing having a reel within and rotatably supported by the housing. Two or more data storage tapes are wound up on the same rotary axis of the reel. Each subsequent winding of a first one of the tapes is separated from the previous winding of the first tape by at least another one of the other tapes. A leader pin is attached to a free end of each of the tapes. The leader pins may be connected to one another. The leader pins may be disconnected from one another as part of process for mounting the cartridge in a tape drive.

Abstract: An assembly for dispensing sheeting from a roll comprises a main tube with a lower support extending from the main tube and configured to support the roll, and with an upper support extending from the main tube at a distance from the lower support. The lower support and the upper support secure opposite ends of the roll, such that the roll can rotate while sheeting is dispensed from the roll. In some embodiments, the assembly further includes one or more arms pivotally connected to the main tube and configured to partially enclose the roll and/or a securing member (or rod) configured to engage the roll along its length. Abstract: A tie-wire holster having a tire-shaped body formed of a flexible polymer material. The body includes sidewalls having first and second central openings, and at least two slots formed in the first sidewall, the slots extending from the central opening of the first sidewall into a top circumferential portion. Abstract: Toilet paper includes a cylindrical paper tube, and belt-shaped paper wound around the paper tube as a core. Floral-note or fruity-floral-note fragrance is applied to the paper tube. The fragrance is a modification fragrance which, in a toilet space, modifies a fecal odor containing at least methyl mercaptan and hydrogen sulfide. An application amount of the modification fragrance is at least 0.4 mass % but no more than 6 mass % to the paper tube of the toilet paper.

Abstract: A system and method for dispensing toilet paper. The system includes a back plate coupled to a cover. An arm base is coupled to an arm, and the arm is coupled to a post. The arm base can rotate relative to the cover. By applying a force the arm rest can unseat and freely rotate. If the user starts with an over-the-top roll configuration the user can rotate the arm to present a behind-the-roll configuration without any need for tools or disassembly.

Abstract: A printing apparatus is capable of preventing a sheet discharged from a discharge unit from entering a feeding unit while guiding the sheet properly to a storage unit located below the feeding unit. The printing apparatus includes a storage unit configured to store a sheet discharged from a discharge unit and a guide unit configured to guide the sheet discharged from the discharge unit to the storage unit. The guide unit has a turning unit which prevents the sheet discharged from the discharge unit from entering a feeding unit and which turns when the sheet comes into contact with the turning unit.
Abstract: Aircraft, aircraft paper towel dispensers, and methods for operating aircraft paper towel dispensers are disclosed. An aircraft paper towel dispenser includes a cabinet housing that defines an inner volume and a housing aperture that is configured to allow a portion of paper towel to be dispensed outside of the cabinet housing. The cabinet housing also includes a vanity cover configured to transition between an open state in which the inner volume is accessible, and a closed state in which the inner volume is not accessible. The aircraft paper towel dispenser comprises each of a paper towel holder within the inner volume and configured to secure a supply of paper towel, and a drive mechanism positioned within the inner volume and configured to cause the portion of the paper towel to be dispensed from the inner volume to a region outside of the cabinet housing via the housing aperture.
