Abstract: A method for enabling a user to view information filtered to align with the user's life state includes enabling the user to register and become a member of an information delivery system. The user provides the information about the user's life state. This information may include at least demographic information, ethnic information, social information and psychological information. The user may grant partners permission to access the information about the user's life. The granting of the permissions is performed and controlled by the user and may be limited to some information about the user's life. The partners are also members of the information delivery system. The partners are evaluated using a set of criteria before they become members of the information delivery system. The partners may use the information about the user's life to filter its information according to the information about the user's life.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for generating client-side code for selecting catalog items for display on a network page. The catalog items have corresponding catalog item identifiers and catalog item representations. In response to a network request, item selection code and catalog item identifiers are transmitted to a client device. The client device executes the item selection code to select a subset of the catalog item identifiers. At least one of the catalog items is selected for inclusion on a network page. The network page is displayed to a user.

Abstract: The present disclosure identifies and/or delivers tailored content based upon a service dialog. For example, the systems may receive a request for tailored content, facilitate a service dialog to obtain information related to the request, and communicate a plurality of tailored content based upon the information related to the request. Further, the systems may identify tailored content based upon a consumer profile, communicate the tailored content to a web client, and/or receive a selection of the tailored content. Further still, the systems may modify a magazine (e.g., content that is presented electronically) based upon tailored content.

Abstract: A Barcode to Zipcode Application, the purpose of which is to remove as many steps from the supply chain as possible, reducing the time required to complete the process of purchasing goods in one location for delivery in another location to hours or even minutes. This application contains interfaces to location based retail product information services as well as customer payment processing systems. The application functions as an internet web application with the primary users being the customer service representatives and delivery personnel.

Abstract: A novel method for obtaining transaction information includes receiving a first transaction record including data indicative of one or more products purchased by a first purchaser from a first merchant, storing the data included in the first record, receiving a second transaction record including electronic data indicative of one or more products purchased by the purchaser from a second merchant, storing the data included in the second record, and providing the first purchaser access to the first transaction record and the said second transaction record. The method is performed on a handheld device which is carried by the first purchaser. A point-of-sale system is also disclosed and includes: a processing, a product interface operative to receive product data, memory operative to store a first transaction record, and a transaction record interface operative to output electronic data indicative of the first transaction record.

Abstract: A system and method for multi-source transaction processing receives order requests from a client system operated by a user. The order requests may include order placements and order inquiries. For example, an order request may be a placement for a computer system and associated peripherals. The user may have particular fulfillment organization preferences, and different components of the computer system and associated peripherals may be fulfilled by different fulfillment partners. Accordingly, the orders order requests are processed by an order request servicing system to, for example, split the order request into multiple processed order requests and each of the processed order requests is associated with an order request management system and prepared for transmission to the associated order request management system. The order request management systems can utilize the processed order requests to fulfill the order request.

Abstract: A mechanism for providing electronic commerce data onto publisher's site. The mechanism also provides ability for a consumer to interact with that data to complete a purchase from within the publisher's website or application. A method includes retrieving merchandise data from a plurality of merchants and storing at least one group of merchandise data formed based on the merchandise data and content on a publisher site. The method also includes embedding the group of merchandise data on the content of the publisher's website and generating a merchandise frame in view of the embedment. The method further includes rendering the merchandise frame directly onto the publisher site. The method further includes rendering a universal check out frame on the publisher's site, which provides the user the ability to check out from multiple retailers within a single universal check out on a publisher's site.

Abstract: A computerized system collects used vehicle data regarding vehicles available for sale from numerous sources (e.g., as from a vehicle auction system), and modifies and supplements such vehicle data for presentation to the consuming public in a searchable manner such that a single entity (e.g., a specific dealer) can offer all of the vehicles for sale to consumers while accounting for the various costs that will be incurred by the selling entity to successfully complete the sales transaction.

Abstract: Customer interactions with one or more pages associated with an online marketplace may be aggregated into historical navigational patterns, which may be associated with one or more items available for purchase at the online marketplace. Where a series or sequence of customer interactions is subsequently received from a customer, such interactions may also be aggregated into a pattern, which may be compared to one or more of the historical navigational patterns. An item recommendation may be identified for the customer based at least in part on the comparison of the received navigational pattern to one or more of the historical navigational patterns. The item recommendation may include an item previously purchased following one of the historical navigational patterns, or an item related to one or more such items.

Abstract: A system and method providing a collection of associated servers in a data center connected to the Internet. The servers, each being related to a service, deliver a client to a user, encapsulating the related services to common standard Internet browser software. The system and method provide a window to the Internet. The associated servers perform browsing for a user, stripping out viruses and malware and delivering safe content. The content enables a user to view and interact with the content on its computer, but not processing that content on the user's computer; the content is not stored on any local storage at the user's computer. The system and method for the delivery of services is tightly integrated into the Internet browsing experience and provides the end-user with anonymity, privacy, fraud protection, and multiple-client sharing of meta-information pertaining to the browsing experience.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving at a network device, a search key from a global search initiated at a mobile device, the network device in communication with the mobile device via a proxy operable to retrieve the search key from a packet transmitted from the mobile device, performing a search at the network device for local content associated with the search key, and transmitting the local content from the network device for display on the mobile device. An apparatus and logic are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a method for converting a client order into a custom canvassed bulletin board, where the client accesses a board maker's web site and uploads a digital image over the internet to a server. The client verifies the uploaded image, selects an image print size, and submits personal information to the server. The uploaded image is retrieved by the board maker and resized. The board maker prints the image onto a canvas, fixes the printed canvas onto a bulletin board, and delivers the custom board to the client. The bulletin board can be framed, hung on a surface, used with push pins to attach messages to the canvassed surface, or be used as decorative art. Cork's self-healing properties causes holes through the printed canvas and tack receptive cork layers to close up and restore the printed image to its near original quality.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments relating to generating profile-based item suggestions from a stylist when purchasing items through an electronic commerce system. A network page is rendered in a client computing device comprising an input field to input descriptions of items the user wishes to purchase and a stylist profile selection mechanism to select a suggested stylist profile. The user inputs descriptions of items and selects the suggested stylist profile. An item suggestions request comprising the item descriptions and the selected stylist profile is sent from the client computing device to a server computing device.
