  • Patent number: 10572315
Abstract: An API gateway hosts one or more APIs for use by client applications. The API gateway includes facilities for maintaining state information on behalf of a client application, a backend service, or an API. The state information may include cached information retrieved from backend services as well as cached results returned from the API to the customer applications. Cached results generated by the API may be shared across a number of customers or across a set of APIs managed by a single API gateway. Cached information associated with a backend service may be shared across a number of APIs that access the backend service. In some examples, session information associated with secure connections between an API gateway service and a backend service provider is maintained by the API gateway service and shared among APIs hosted by the API gateway service.

  • Patent number: 10558372
Abstract: Methods and systems for implementing an Action application programming interface (API) framework are described herein. A method of implementing an API framework starts by generating input work items from an external source for a first action included in a workflow. The external source includes a list of client devices to be backed up. The output work items for the first action are then populated when the first action is complete. The input work items for a second action included in the workflow are retrieved using the output work items for the first action. The input work items for the second action are filtered using a filter and the output work items for the second action are populated when the second action is complete.

  • Patent number: 10489129
Abstract: An application that includes intrinsics defined in one architecture is to execute without change on a different architecture. Program code that depends on vector element ordering is obtained, and that program code is part of an application including one or more intrinsics. The one or more intrinsics are mapped from a first system architecture for which the application was written to a second system architecture. One or more operations of the program code are then converted from a first data layout to a second data layout. The application, including the mapped intrinsics and the converted data layout, is to be executed on a processor of the different architecture.

  • Patent number: 10417049
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for implementing a coordinator within a coordinated environment, which environment includes set of coordinated devices managed by the coordinator. The coordinator can be provisioned with a set of tasks, each task corresponding to a segment of code that can be executed by the coordinator, such as to manage the coordinated devices. To assist in execution of the tasks, the coordinator can include a communications manager that enables communications between tasks. The communications manager can provide a language-independent interface to call for execution of tasks, pass information to a task, and obtain outputs of a task. In some embodiments, the communication manager may utilize a language-independent protocol, such as the hypertext transport protocol, and be configured to respond to requests addressed to uniform resource identifiers associated with the communications manager.

  • Patent number: 10409494
Abstract: Mass storage devices of any interface can be redirected to a server. When a mass storage device is connected to a client terminal, a client-side proxy can obtain information about the device including the interface by which the device connects to the client terminal. The proxy can relay this information to a server-side agent which can instruct a VMiniport enumerator to enumerate the mass storage device using the interface specified in the information. When the VMiniport driver is loaded, the agent can also use the information to cause the VMiniport driver and the storport driver to be initialized in accordance with the specified interface. The VMiniport driver and storport driver will therefore be configured to communicate IO requests targeting the mass storage device in a format appropriate for the interface.

  • Patent number: 10387193
Abstract: A method for identifying an application causing a temperature rise of a terminal, and a terminal are provided. The method includes: obtaining a value range of temperature of a current component of the terminal during operation of a current application; calculating a ratio of a difference between the value range and a normal value range of the temperature of the current component when the terminal is in an idle state in the environment to the normal value range; and if the ratio is greater than a preset threshold, determining that the current application is the application causing the temperature rise of the terminal. The method accurately identifies the APP causing the temperature rise, so that the user may be reminded to process the APP when the APP causing the temperature rise of the terminal is determined, so as to reduce the effect on the terminal of the APP.

  • Patent number: 10338979
Abstract: A transaction suspension system rapidly determines whether messages received by a data transaction processing system correspond to a stored message pattern. Stored message patterns may relate to a transaction type associated with each message, which sources transmitted the messages, and when messages were received by the data transaction processing system. The transaction suspension system may prevent the processing of messages, e.g., messages from a specific source, even if the messages would have otherwise qualified for processing or execution.

  • Patent number: 10303528
Abstract: Parallel processing of events having multi-dimensional dependencies is provided. Each event has at least one profile and each profile has at least one profile key. An event is dependent on another event if they have at least one common profile key. The profile key(s) for a plurality of profiles of the given event are compared to profile keys of previously queued events. A given event is assigned to a same queue as at least one dependent event. When a given event is dependent on events in at least two queues, the given event is not assigned to a queue until only one queue has dependent events remaining to be processed. A list of profile keys that have been assigned to each queue and/or a reference count of a number of events that have been queued for each profile key are optionally maintained.

  • Patent number: 10261847
Abstract: An interface software layer is interposed between at least one application and a plurality of coprocessors. A data and command stream issued by the application(s) to an API of an intended one of the coprocessors is intercepted by the layer, which also acquires and stores the execution state information for the intended coprocessor at a coprocessor synchronization boundary. At least a portion of the intercepted data and command stream data is stored in a replay log associated with the intended coprocessor. The replay log associated with the intended coprocessor is then read out, along with the stored execution state information, and is submitted to and serviced by at least one different one of the coprocessors other than the intended coprocessor.
