Abstract: The hinge, particularly for a furniture, comprises a hinge arm (5) which can be associated to a fixed part (1, 2) of the furniture, a hinge box (6) which can be associated to a movable part (3) of the furniture and connected to the hinge arm (5) in rotation between an opening position and a closing position of the hinge (4), at least one plate (28) having at least one seat (29) for at least one shock absorbing device (30) of the closing of the hinge (4) and/or for at least an assist device for the opening of the hinge (4), and at least one fixing element (21) in common with the hinge arm (5) and with the plate (28) for being fixed to the fixed part (1, 2) of the furniture.

Abstract: A carrier is provided for facilitating the carrying and transportation of a funerary container having a bottom surface, a plurality of side surfaces and a top surface, along with a length and width and interior large enough to accommodate an un-cremated corpse. The carrier includes a base member having a length generally long enough to span the width of the funerary container and a upper surface sized and configured for receiving the bottom surface of the funerary container. An upstanding member has a lower end coupled to the base member and an upper end. The upstanding member extends in a plane generally perpendicular to the base member. A handle member is provided that is coupled to the upstanding member. The handle includes a hand receiving surface engageable by the hand of the user.

Abstract: A door stop comprises a flexible bar having a first end, a second end, and six sequential adjacent bends between the first and second ends, the first sequential adjacent bend closest to the first end, and the sixth sequential adjacent bend closet to the second end. A rubber grommet is affixed into the first end, and protrudes past the first end. A hole in the second end is substantially three-sixteenth inch in diameter. The distance between the fifth and sixth sequential adjacent bends is substantially equal to 1.375 inches. In an alternate embodiment, the distance between the fifth and sixth sequential adjacent bends is substantially equal to 1.75 inches.

Abstract: An unmanned parcel storage apparatus capable of dynamically allocating storage spaces and a method of using the unmanned parcel storage. A storage method of the unmanned parcel storage apparatus determines a position and a size of a desired storage space to be allocated. Based on the determination result, a moving unit adds or removes a partition to create the desired storage space, and moves a delivery item to the created storage space for the storage purpose. Accordingly, it is possible to efficiently use a space in a storage unit and thereby store more number of delivery items in the same storage unit. In addition, the moving unit processes the allocation of storage spaces, and delivery, loading and discharging of the delivery items, and therefore the user's convenience of use can be enhanced.

Abstract: A caster wheel device for a domestic appliance is in the form of a wheel mounting carriage, a dial having an underside forming a cam, a cam follower that contacts the cam, a wheel bracket and a wheel. The wheel bracket retains the wheel within it so that the wheel and bracket pivot about the follower independently of the carriage. The cam follower is attached to the wheel bracket and the wheel is able to trail behind the cam follower to form a trailing wheel caster when lowered.

Abstract: A reusable casket includes a metal casket box having an opening at one end and including a panel section rotatably attached to the casket box which is closeable to enclose the opening and openable to allow longitudinal movement of a casket insert into and out of the casket box through the opening. A transverse member adjacent the panel section connects opposing side panels of the box to partially define the opening. The panel section is retained to the transverse member in the closed position by locking bolts extending through the panel section to engage the transverse member. A method of making the metal casket box includes welding side, end, and floor panels together, moveably attaching the panel section relative to an opening in the end of the casket box, and attaching the transverse member to the side panels adjacent the panel section.

Abstract: A laundry basket which includes a main body and a chute that extends from, and away from, the main body. The main body has an enclosing side portion and an end portion, the enclosing side portion and end portion cooperating to form an enclosure having an open end and a closed end defined by the end portion. The main body is totally enclosed by the enclosing side portion except for a slit in the enclosing side portion that extends from the open end towards the closed end of the main body.

Abstract: A connector device is disclosed for releasably connecting a cord or flexible tube which includes a disk-shaped top plate which has an exit opening for the end of a cord to be retained. A capture cap has a circumferential edge which mates with the top plate. The top plate has a series of indents upon its circumferential edge. A capstan is located between the top plate and capture plate. A cord or flexible tube to be connected is directed through an opening where it enters a helical track in the capture cap. When the capture cap is rotated in a first direction the cord is wrapped around the capstan and captured within the helical track. Rotation in the opposite direction releases the cord. A ratchet capture and release mechanism engages the series of indents to further prevent release of the cord. A retaining device is secured to the top plate for attaching the connector device in a fixed position thereby attaching the cord. Multiple connector devices connect multiple cords or flexible tubes together.

Abstract: The sealing acrylic urn vault of the invention includes a generally square sheet of ?? cast acrylic serving as the base and a generally square top portion which will have four adjacent side walls bonded to its edges and protruding downward. Each opposing side wall will be bonded length-wise to each adjoining side, creating a seamless cast acrylic box, open at the bottom, that lowers onto the acrylic base. Attached to the base are four 0.625? tall ?? thick acrylic guide rails, bonded equidistant from the outside base edge on all four sides of the base. This “railing system” is the fastening guide for the acrylic top portion which lowers onto the base with the inside of the four side walls bonded with the outside edges of the four guide rails.

Abstract: A device and system for assisting in the loading of a cremation container with a bottom surface into a crematory chamber with a floor. The device and system include a cylindrical body, with the body having a longitudinal axis and an external surface extending a length between a first end and a second end. The device and system further include an adhesive applied to the external surface, at one or more points along the length of the cylindrical body. The adhesive temporarily attaches the cylindrical body to the bottom surface of the cremation container.

The first torsion control structure includes a first outer control portion and a first inner control portion. The second torsion control structure includes a second outer control portion and a second inner control portion. A height of the first inner control portion is different from a height of the second inner control portion, and a height of the first outer control portion is different from a height of the second outer control portion.

Abstract: An active hinge with a reset mechanism that disables an additional degree of freedom in the hinge's movement to permit the trailing edge of a vehicle hood to lift is disclosed. The active hinge includes a deployment bracket on which a reset clip is mounted, a hood bracket for attachment to the vehicle's hood, and a body bracket for attachment to the vehicle's body. To re-lock movement between the deployment bracket and the hood bracket, an engagement tab on the reset clip enters a notch in the hood bracket whereby the reset clip rotates until a locking tab on the clip engages a hole in the deployment bracket. Curved surfaces mounted on the engagement and locking tabs provide surface-to-surface contact between the reset clip and the deployment bracket, whereby the deployment bracket is not scratched when the reset clip is rotated, thereby precluding rust from developing on the deployment bracket.

Abstract: A fastening assembly for a built-in refrigerator on a side wall of a furniture body includes a hinge with a hinge arm fixable on the refrigerator side, a screw-on flange with through holes for fastening screws, two fastening screws that pass through the through holes of the screw-on flange and that are screwed into a side wall of the furniture body and a wall thickness compensating plate. The wall thickness compensating plate is insertable if needed between the screw-on flange and the side wall. The fastening screws are preinstalled in a cover cap manufactured from plastic and pluggable onto the screw-on flange.

Abstract: A concrete burial vault system having a layered construction of castable material encased in an inner liner and an outer casing of a thermoplastic polymer such as polypropylene utilizes the liner and casing as a mold for the concrete and enables monolithic molds with self-supporting securing tabs. This system allows the liner and casing to be manufactured at a central location and then transported to a plurality of use locations to be filled with concrete. The manufacturing method supports the system and provides an assembly advantage.
