    Abstract: A turbine power plant consisting of a closed loop steam turbine system and a closed loop exhaust turbine system. An external fuel source is used to drive the steam turbine system. The heat energy of the hot exhaust fluid of the steam turbine system is transferred to the exhaust turbine system, therefore driving the exhaust turbine system. The turbines used in this invention are designed to allow a heat exchange relationship between the closed loop cycle of the steam turbine system and the closed loop cycles of the exhaust turbine system. In the closed loop steam turbine system, the hot exhaust fluid of the steam turbine system flows through a conduit where it gives up heat energy to the turbines of the exhaust turbine system, prior to reaching a condenser. The working fluid, now in a liquid phase, flows through a pump and then collects heat energy from the exhaust fluid of the turbines in the exhaust turbine system, preheating the working fluid prior to reaching a heater and the steam turbine.

    Abstract: An automotive air conditioning system has a DEMIST mode which is operative at least in VENT or BI-LEVEL modes for switching conditioned air flow from an upper vent air outlet to a defroster nozzle. In the DEMIST mode, the temperature of air discharged through the defroster nozzle is controlled according to a previously selected, desired temperature so that the air discharged through the defroster nozzle can perform defrosting or demisting of the front windshield as well as conditioning of the temperature in the vehicle cabin. A blower speed control system responds to selection of the DEMIST mode by temporarily adjusting the variation range of the blower speed to not less than a medium speed for a given time period. This helps speed the defrosting or demisting effect of the air conditioning system.

    Abstract: A cooling system for maintaining the temperature within electronic equipment has a circulation system for pumping a cooling liquid, such as water, through the electronic equipment where it picks up heat generated by the electronic equipment. The cooling liquid is pumped through a plurality of heat exchangers using a refrigerant which is, in turn, pumped through a compressor-condensor combination, each heat exchanger having approximately the same cooling capacity. A central control selects the number of heat exchangers which are to operate at any given time, on a basis of the differential in the temperature of the water being pumped into and out of the electronic equipment. This maintains a desired and relatively wide range of temperatures. A heating element selectively and controllably heats the cooled water to bring the wide range of temperatures to a selected and fixed temperature.

    Abstract: Cooling-bladder assembly for installation around the mixing chamber of a sandmill or the like is provided having a pair of semi-circular bladder halves with inner and outer walls for defining an enclosure. Inlet and outlet ports connected to a suitable pump circulate coolant fluid through the enclosure, the bladder halves being secured together at the opposed vertical edges. Spacers in the form of hollow pipe section are connected to the inner and outer walls of the bladder for maintaining the integrity of the enclosure and for creating turbulence in the coolant fluid. A heat transfer or conductive paste may be applied to the outer wall of the mixing vessel or to the adjacent inner wall of the bladder to facilitate the transfer of heat from the sandmill mixing vessel to the bladder assembly.

    Abstract: An interdome enclosure system takes advantage of the latent heat of condensation for energy efficiency. The system includes, in combination with a humid environment, such as a heated pool and an outer enclosure housing the pool, an inner enclosure disposed within the outer enclosure and over the pool and a differntial fan operated heat exchanger for creating an atmospheric pressure within the space between the inner and outer enclosures which is positive relative to the atmospheric pressure within the inner enclosure. The heat exchanger includes a pair of conduits disposed in heat exchange relationship to one another. Assisted by an inlet fan, one conduit communicates dry, fresh cool air from the exterior of the outer enclosure into the space between the enclosures, while the other conduit, assisted by an exhaust fan, communicates moisture-laden, warm air from the inner enclosure directly to the exterior of the outer enclosure.
