Abstract: A bag dispensing package includes a stack of flat bags and a surrounding flexible receptacle, conveniently in the form of a plastic bag. Each flat bag within the receptacle includes a pair of opposed walls, one of the walls having a manually graspable flap on an outwardly facing surface and the other wall including an extension that extends outwardly from the remainder of the bag. The flexible receptacle includes an access opening arranged to communicate with the manually graspable flap of the uppermost bag of the stack while the remainder of the receptacle retains the extension of the outermost bag within the receptacle. The access opening is normally closed, being defined by a pattern of perforations so that when it is desired to utilize the bags, the opening is formed by tearing the receptacle along the pattern of perforations. The uppermost bag is then removed by grasping the manually graspable flap and pulling the bag outwardly of the receptacle.

Abstract: A hollow housing is provided including a top wall having a plurality of horizontally spaced openings formed therein and each of the openings has a depending cylindrical wall structure operatively associated therewith and supported from the top wall. The lower ends of the cylindrical wall structures include diametric slots formed therein and perm rod support and elevator structure in the form of a grid structure is mounted within the housing with various grid bars thereof extending through and vertically shiftable in the cylindrical wall structure diametric slots. The grid bars form vertically shiftable floor portions for the cavities defined by the top wall openings and the cylindrical wall structures dependingly supported from the top wall. Vertically disposed perm rods are downwardly receivable within the aforementioned cavities and have their lower ends abutted against and supported from the grid bars.

Abstract: A multiple part assembly includes an enclosure for a moist pad member. The assembly included a cup-shaped container within which the pad member is located. A heat seal secures the outer edge of the pad member to the container. A support is secured encircling the container and includes an annular backing member encircling the open end thereof. The backing member is adhesively affixed and peelable for the support. A plastic film cover overlies the pad member and adjacent portion of the backing member. An encircling fusion seal joining the plastic film cover to the backing member for removal of the cover with the backing member. A plastic heating tool includes an annular or circular tool element formed of appropriate material which is responsive to an inductive field for self-generation of heat within the tool for attaching the pad to the container.

Abstract: A resealable package comprising a backing and a bubble displaceably mounted on it and having an opening facing towards the backing. Said opening is at least partially uncoverable for removal of the goods enclosed by the package. The package includes a flap on the backing, said flap being foldable from a first position enclosing an object removal opening in the backing and preventing bubble displacement relative backing, to a second position uncovering the removal opening and enabling displacement of the bubble. In said second position at least parts of the openings of the bubble and backing coincide.

Abstract: Apparatus for facilitating the safe disposal of used hypodermic needles. According to a preferred embodiment, a funnel-like member, adapted to be hand-held, functions to support a needle sheath during a needle-sheathing operation. The converging walls of such member shield the hand of the user from accidental "needle sticks". Also disclosed are needle containers which incorporate means for facilitating the sheathing of used needles prior to entering the container.

Abstract: A package for a mask having a predetermined configuration with a front convex surface and a rear concave surface in which the face of a wearer of a mask is to be positioned. The package includes a molded plastic shell having a convex surface adapted to conform to the predetermined configuration of the mask. The convex surface of the shell fits in the rear concave surface of the mask. A coupling device releasably couples the mask to the shell so that the front concave surface of the mask is exposed. The plastic shell may include an extension which permits the package to be suspended from a support for display in a store.

Abstract: An improved package for carded merchandise includes a collapsible box having first and second opposing side walls, a bottom wall extending between the first and second side walls and attached thereto at first and second fold lines; a top wall is connected to the first side wall along a third fold line and the top wall is attached to the second side wall. There is also a releasable interconnection device for interconnecting the top wall and the second wall.

Abstract: This relates to the packaging of a tubular shirred casing strand within a wrap sleeve. The wrap sleeve is provided with end portions which extend beyond the casing strand, and these end portions are heated and folded and deformed by way of a plunger which functions as a piston within a mold structure so as to define a rigid substantially solid end cap which is integral with the wrap sleeve. Abstract: A portable container for food and miscellany capable of protecting and preserving its contents in the rough handling environment of the construction worker. The container comprises an insulated hollow body with a compartmented, covered tray therein and a hinged, insulated lid for closing the body and for holding the tray in place within the body. The body also has a permanent magnet in the bottom thereof for holding the container in place on a magnetically attractable surface.

Abstract: A container assembly attachable to or integral with the body of an instant camera for carrying packs of unexposed film or developed prints which consists of a generally rectangular housing having a hinged or sliding door which opens at the bottom or end of the housing to provide access into the interior thereof. Attachment means on the container assembly allow the assembly to be secured to the camera body by friction fit or screw means.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a disposal device for gum and the like having a generally cubical housing, a disposable bag removably supported therein, and appropriate access openings for gum disposal and bag removal. Each of the side walls of the housing is formed with a slot therein for the insertion of a sheet of advertising or other printed display material. The side walls are made of transparent or clear plastic material for best viewing the display material.The housing includes a recess in one of the side walls for holding a packet of wrapping tissues for the sanitary disposal of spent chewing gum. A turntable supports the housing for easy rotation on a table top, such that the side wall mounted tissues may be brought within convenient reach, and the display panels may be readily viewed by many persons seated at the same table.

Abstract: A packing for transporting flat-type semiconductor devices which prevents deformation of the lead wires and which improves the transportation efficiency, and a flat-type semiconductor which is particularly suitable for the packing. A flat-type semiconductor device to be used for the packing of the present invention has a protection frame which is partially fixed to a hermetic package sealing a semiconductor element and which protects lead wires. The semiconductor devices are stacked in a container having a bottom. A lid is placed on the semiconductor devices to complete the packing of the present invention. In order to facilitate the removal of the protection frame by the user, the protection frame of the flat-type semiconductor device is fixed to the hermetic package at one side each of four corners.

The joint comprises a plurality of fused regions at the interface of the overlapping portions. The fused regions are spaced apart across the width of the strap. Each fused region has the form of an interface layer of merged resolidified strap surface portions.

Abstract: A film cassette includes a first cylindrical body forming a film supply section, a second cylindrical body forming a film take-up section, and a coupling section extending between the first and second cylindrical bodies and connected at both ends to the two cylindrical bodies thereby integrally coupling the cylindrical bodies. The coupling section has an outer face continuous with the outer peripheral surfaces of the first and second cylindrical bodies. First cylindrical body includes a ridge protruding from the outer peripheral surface thereof, to which is applied an urging force to rock the film cassette around that cylindrical body with the ridge thereon.

Abstract: A wedge-shaped container is formed from a generally rectangular blank by collapsing triangular gusset panels defined in the side walls of the carton. The front wall panel includes a downwardly extending tongue that can be depressed into the carton to access a roll of strip material. An end of the strip material is drawn around the tongue and secured against the front wall panel of the carton for display to potential purchasers, and the entire carton and displayed strip material are preferably wrapped in clear plastic.

Abstract: A magnetic drill holder is comprised of a nonmagnetic housing and a magnetic back plate. The housing is fabricated as a series of adjoining longitudinal channels, each having one closed end. A common magnetic back plate encloses the channels longitudinally, thus forming longitudinal receptacles. The channels may be of varying lengths and areas, making them suitable for holding a series of tools, such as drill bits. Magnetic tools placed in the receptacles are retained in them by magnetic attraction. The tool holder further includes a pocket that utilizes the magnetic back plate and a housing rib to hold a selected tool, such as a drill chuck key, in the tool holder.

Abstract: A multi-sectioned hinged case is provided which is specifically adapted to facilitate the storage and retrieval of numerous articles of differing size and configuration. When open the case is adapted to stand upright securely with its respective sections both visible and accessible. When closed the sections fold together to form a unitary case. In one embodiment of the invention one of the sections is provided with a removable bin which projects beyond the sides of that section and is provided with a corresponding vacant area in an adjacent section of the case to accommodate the projecting bin when the case is closed. The multi-section hinged case of the invention is particularly adapted for the storage, display and retrieval of fishing tackle, sewing implements and artist's supplies.
