  • Patent number: 9883230
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are disclosed for creating a self-organized time-synchronization network, enabling accurate synchronization. For example, multiple devices may wirelessly broadcast and receive beacon signals and self-organize into an ad hoc network. The wireless ad hoc network may be optimized as individual devices choose new connections to reduce a number of hops to a source device. Individual devices may include a counter that may increment continuously for timing purposes, and counters may be synchronized between connected devices. For example, a local device may adjust contents of a local counter on the local device based on a drift between the local counter and a remote counter on a remote device. Thus, counters between connected devices may be synchronized, beginning at the source device and propagating through the ad hoc network. Based on the synchronization, the devices may offer additional functionality and/or more sophisticated applications.

  • Patent number: 9865303
Abstract: A media sharing system receives a media stream from a broadcaster system. The media sharing system streams a transcoded version of the media stream to user devices that request the media stream broadcast. Additionally, as the media stream is received from the broadcaster system, the media sharing system generates media segments that include the content of the media stream. Based on programming information received for the media stream, the media sharing system creates a media clip for each program included in the media stream. The media sharing system uses content from the media segments to generate the media clips. Further, as a user is viewing a media stream broadcast to the user's device by the media sharing system, the user may request the creation of a media clip from the media stream. The system identifies media segments that include content of the desired media clip and creates the media clip.

  • Patent number: 9860481
Abstract: The present invention provides an information processing method and an electronic device. The method is applied in a first electronic device and comprises: obtaining a first data; obtaining P frame images based on the first data, where P is an integer larger than or equal to 1; obtaining a second data based on a data channel with a second electronic device; obtaining Q frame images based on the second data, where Q is an integer larger than or equal to 1; generating a video stream of M frame images based on the P frame images and the Q frame images, where M<P+Q. With the present invention, based on the video data of both communication parties, the video or voice data can be clipped based on a processing rule to generate a video stream, such that the resulting video stream can be more compact and continuous and have a better viewing effect. The generated video stream can be used as a communication record for the communication parties which is convenient for the user to view or play as desired.

  • Patent number: 9857581
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for high-resolution luminescence microscopy of a specimen marked with marker molecules, and to a luminescence microscope for performing the method, wherein the marker molecules can be excited to emit luminescence radiation. The method for luminescence microscopy comprises the excitation and imaging of marker molecules and the transmission of a trigger time and a position of the specimen. An optical recording device images the marker molecules in a capture area and transmits data from the imaging to an image capture circuit. The recording device transmits a time for the imaging to a signal former as a trigger time; the trigger time is then transmitted to a data recorder.
