Abstract: A motion system for moving objects in a space, e.g., for moving virtual reality (VR) participants about space used to provide a VR environment. The system includes a controller and a position monitoring assembly. The system has a modular floor including a plurality of tile assemblies defining a support surface for a first and a second object. Each of the tile assemblies includes: (a) a planar tile with an upper surface for supporting the first and second objects; and (b) a drive system. The drive system includes a vibration-inducing assembly operable to oscillate the planar tile in a horizontal plane and further includes a preferential friction assembly operable to selectively reduce friction between the upper surface and any supported object. The controller generates control signals, based on position information, to independently control the tile assemblies of the modular floor to move the first and second objects on the support surface.
Abstract: A display device presents visual information with native and non-native resolutions stored in EDID and provided to a graphics controller. Non-native resolutions are generated in response to an object detected that interferes with the presenting of the visual information, such as an object between a projector and projection surface or an object placed on a capacitive mat display. The non-native resolutions present the visual information to avoid the object and are stored in EDID in association with object characteristics to allow re-use of the non-native resolutions when visual information at the display is blocked by an object with similar characteristics.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electronic device for erasing contents on a writing board. The electronic device comprises a motion detecting unit for detecting movement of the electronic device from resting position which then transmits an activation signal to activate a processing unit and a proximity sensor. The proximity sensor identifies proximity of the electronic device with the writing board. The processing unit receives a signal from the proximity sensor when the electronic device is proximal to the writing board. Further, the processing unit receives selection of colours through user interface on the electronic device for identifying erasable or retainable contents on the writing board. The processing unit transmits a control signal to motion control system to control moveable cleaning surface of the electronic device to perform either pulling or pushing the moveable cleaning surface backward or forward respectively based on the selection of colours.
