Abstract: Systems and method for updating vehicles during transport. In particular, systems and methods are provided for transport vehicles to provide secure wireless updates to autonomous vehicles being transported. By updating vehicles during transport, significant time savings can be achieved, as vehicles can arrive at a destination ready for deployment. A secure protocol can be used by the transport vehicle for the updates to protect software and other data.

Abstract: A system described herein may maintain records, in a distributed ledger, that include parameters (e.g., Quality of Service (“QoS”) parameters and/or Multi-Access/Mobile Edge Computing (“MEC”) device management parameters) that are associated with particular applications and/or MEC operator systems. The system may identify a particular record, from the distributed ledger, that is associated with a particular MEC operator system. The particular record may indicate a first set of MEC configuration parameters implemented by the MEC device operator system, and one or more triggers based on which the first set of MEC configuration parameters were implemented by the MEC device operator system. The system may record a set of modified application parameters, that are generated based on the identified first set of MEC configuration parameters and the one or more triggers, to the distributed ledger.

Abstract: A system and method for improving event and user communications and experiences. (e.g., managing meetings and their participants) is disclosed. By treating events such as meetings and their participants (meeting leaders and invited attendees) as a managed system, the present invention improves the quality and outcomes of meetings and the satisfaction of the participants. The present invention also makes joining of this intelligently-managed system particularly simple for new as well as returning participants, by providing a unique approach to the issues at the pre-meeting, meeting, and post-meeting phases in order to generate scores for the particular meeting, each participant (meeting leader and attendees), and a meeting graph linking the performance of each participant (meeting leader and attendees). This score is used to adjust and predict participant (meeting leader and attendees) behavior in subsequent meetings.

Abstract: An ephemeral content distribution system associated with exchanging calibrated communications using a wave dynamic communication protocol based at least on a current wave-state of a user is disclosed. The system transmits a wave-based request for wave dynamic communications associated with a first user. The system processes wave-geographic information associated with a bounded geographical region based on a wave-state of a second user that received the wave-based request. The system processes wave-identity information associated with the wave-state of the second user. The system next receives a response of the second user to the wave-based request in accordance with the wave-state of the second user.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for launching one or more local applications seamlessly from a remote desktop. The method generally includes sending, from a client device to a connection server, redirected local application information associated with one or more local applications of the client device; receiving a selection, from a user of the client device via a context menu of a file located on a remote device running a remote desktop, of a local application of the one or more local applications to open the file; receiving, by the client device from the remote desktop, a request for the client device to launch the local application and load the file; and displaying the local application in a window displayed on the client device.

Abstract: A method for data transfer includes transmitting a sequence of data packets from a first computer over a network to a second computer in a single RDMA data transfer transaction. Upon receipt of a second packet in the sequence without previously having received the first packet, the second computer sends a NAK packet over the network to the first computer, indicating that the first packet was not received. A retransmission mode is selected responsively to the type of the transaction, such that when the transaction is of a first type, the first packet is retransmitted from the first computer to the second computer in response to the NAK packet without retransmitting the second packet, and when the transaction is of a second type, both the first and second packets are retransmitted from the first computer to the second computer in response to the NAK packet.

Abstract: Systems and methods for phishing email training are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for phishing email training may include: (1) receiving a target difficulty level, a target population, and a plurality of parameters for a test phishing email; (2) selecting a plurality of test email components from a library of test email components based on the parameters and the target difficulty level; (3) generating the test phishing using the selected test email components, wherein the test phishing email may include at least one of a hyperlink and an attachment; and (4) disseminating the test phishing email to the target population.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for remotely supporting managed hardware components of an IHS (Information Handling System). Prior to booting an operating system of the IHS, the managed hardware components are enumerated as supporting remote management and a network stack is created in a secured IHS memory, where the network stack is for transfer of remote device management communications directed at the managed hardware components. Still prior to booting the operating system, the IHS chipset is configured to route device management messages received from remote management tools to the network stack. After booting the operating system, a secure remote management session is established between a remote management tool and an IHS device management agent. During operation of the device management agent in the booted operating system, device management messages are retrieved from the network stack and decoded device management messages are delivered to a managed hardware component.

Abstract: A system for preventing unauthorized replay of a software container is disclosed. The system comprises a container manager configured to receive a software container from a customer and send a software container validation request comprising a software container identity in response. The software container enables delivery of a network slice and comprises a plurality of elements. The system also comprises an anti-rollback platform that is configured to receive the validation request from the container manager, search a data store for the software container identity, compare the elements of the software container to corresponding elements stored in the data store as associated with the software container identity in response to locating the software container identity in the data store, and validate the software container based on the comparison. The container manager provides the network slice to the customer in response to the validation.

Abstract: The present invention provides for migration of application running on source cloud platform to target cloud platform. In operation, the present invention provides for retrieving analysis-data including source code of application to be migrated, hereinafter referred to as application M, a runtime data of application M, and target cloud platform data. The present invention further provides for identifying migration parameters based on analysis-data. Further, migration readiness of application M to target cloud platform is assessed based on migration parameters. Furthermore, a migration readiness report is generated based on the migration parameters, migration readiness assessment and the runtime data. Yet further, deployment configurations for the application M are generated as per the target cloud platform based on the migration readiness report.

Abstract: A system may include a historical managed software system data store that contains electronic records associated with controllers and deployed workloads (each electronic record may include time series data representing performance metrics). An entropy calculation system, coupled to the historical managed software system data store, may calculate at least one historical entropy value based on information in the historical managed software system data store. A detection engine, coupled to a monitored system currently executing a deployed workload in the cloud computing environment, may collect time series data representing current performance metrics associated with the monitored system. The detection engine may then calculate a current monitored entropy value (based on the collected time series data representing current performance metrics) and (iii) compare the current monitored entropy value with a threshold value (based on the historical entropy value).

Abstract: Apparatus for rating download events is described. The apparatus includes a network interface and a processor. The processor, via the interface, monitors one or more download events in which content is downloaded by one or more users. In response to the monitoring, the processor identifies at least one quantitative property of the download events. Based on the property, the processor assigns a rating to the download events that is indicative of an estimated user-perceived quality of the download events. The processor then generates an output indicative of the rating. Other embodiments are also described.

At least one geofence is associated with the at least one piece of real estate. Abstract: An embodiment includes mapping, responsive to receiving a request for a container image from a container host, the requested container image to a first computer memory on a registry server. The embodiment also includes exposing a window storing the mapped container image to the container host using a collective window-creation call with the container host. The embodiment also includes processing a Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) data transfer request to select a lock type for the window during the RDMA data transfer. The embodiment also includes imposing the selected lock type on the window during the RDMA data transfer. The embodiment also includes releasing the selected lock type from the window upon detecting completion of the RDMA data transfer.

Abstract: Systems and methods for vehicle registration are disclosed. A server computer and at least one database are constructed and configured for network communication with at least one vehicle. The at least one vehicle transmits a registration request to the server computer. The server computer assigns a unique registration ID for the at least one vehicle. The at least one database comprises a geofence database storing information of a multiplicity of registered geofences. Each of the multiplicity of registered geofences comprises a plurality of geographic designators defined by a plurality of unique Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) addresses. One of the plurality of unique IPv6 addresses is encoded as a unique identifier for each of the multiplicity of registered geofences. The server computer caches the information of the multiplicity of registered geofences on the at least one vehicle.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes techniques for using instances of a connector to communicate with multiple target systems without a manual pre-configuration step for each of the multiple target systems. The connector may be an extensible program-code-template for creating objects to perform one or more operations. For example, each instance of the connector may obtain information regarding a corresponding target system, determine an interface to the corresponding target system based on the information, and translate requests for the corresponding target system according to the interface.
