  • Patent number: 10595230
Abstract: A method, system and device load balancing in a telecommunications network is provided where a selection of one or more User Equipments (UEs), to be relocated from a source cell to a target cell is based on a prediction value of the performance in the target cell. The prediction of the performance in the target cell is performed by mapping the current load of the target cell and a current detected signal of the target cell, into a perceived performance, perceived by UEs that have been relocated previously. After relocation of the UE the perceived performance in the target cell is measured and fed back by the target cell radio base station (RBS) to the source cell RBS, and used for updating the predicted performance value.

  • Patent number: 10588120
Abstract: A network node, such as a base station, identifies radio resources within an overall bandwidth using a first resource referencing scheme, while a wireless communication device identifies radio resources within an allocated portion of the overall bandwidth using a second resource referencing scheme. Advantageously, the device correctly identifies given radio resources pointed to by a resource identifier expressed according to the first resource referencing scheme, by translating the resource identifier into the second resource referencing scheme according to mapping information that relates the two schemes. Correspondingly, the network node enables the wireless communication device to perform such translations by providing the mapping information either implicitly or explicitly.

  • Patent number: 10524138
Abstract: A communications system having a network of nodes that may transmit and receive wireless signals. RF channel quietness may be measured at each node. A channel that is the best for all of the nodes may be selected. However, if all of the nodes except for one node determine that a particular channel is the best and not acceptable to the one node but that another channel is acceptable to all of the nodes, then the entire network may choose to operate on the other channel. The network may choose to operate on more than one channel in a time slotted fashion if a single acceptable channel cannot be found for all of the nodes. Channel quietness measurements may be facilitated by and uploaded to a host controller. The host controller may build a profile of measurements from the nodes for each channel.

  • Patent number: 10516586
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for identifying bogon addresses. A system can obtain an indication of address spaces in a network. The indication can be based on route advertisements transmitted by routers associated with the network. The system can receive a report generated by a capturing agent deployed on a host. The report can identify a flow captured by the capturing agent at the host. The system can identify a network address associated with the flow and, based on the indication of address spaces, the system can determine whether the network address is within the address spaces in the network. When the network address is not within the address spaces in the network, the system can determine that the network address is a bogon address. When the network address is within the address spaces in the network, the system can determine that the network address is not a bogon address.

  • Patent number: 10511421
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station and user equipment (UE) may use subframe configurations that include dynamically scheduled channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) symbols. For example, a base station may identify a subframe configuration that includes one or more sets of CSI-RS symbols of a subframe. The base station may indicate to a UE whether sets of CSI-RS symbols may be enabled or disabled during the subframe. The UE may receive multiple CSI-RSs at different locations within the subframe as indicated by the base station, and transmit CSI feedback to the base station based on at least one of the received CSI-RSs. In some examples, multiple base stations may coordinate the use of subframe configurations that include CSI-RS symbols that may be enabled or disabled.
