  • Patent number: 11831565
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for performing efficient data transfer in a computing system are disclosed. A computing system includes multiple fabric interfaces in clients and a fabric. A packet transmitter in the fabric interface includes multiple queues, each for storing packets of a respective type, and a corresponding address history cache for each queue. Queue arbiters in the packet transmitter select candidate packets for issue and determine when address history caches on both sides of the link store the upper portion of the address. The packet transmitter sends a source identifier and a pointer for the request in the packet on the link, rather than the entire request address, which reduces the size of the packet. The queue arbiters support out-of-order issue from the queues. The queue arbiters detect conflicts with out-of-order issue and adjust the outbound packets and fields stored in the queue entries to avoid data corruption.

  • Patent number: 11831742
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for implementing a semi-flexible Receive Segment Coalescing (RSC) control path. Logic for evaluating packet coalescing open flow criteria and close flow criteria are implemented in hardware on a network device that receives packets from one or more networks. packet coalescing open profiles and packet coalescing close profiles are also stored on the network device, wherein each packet coalescing open profile defines a set of packet coalescing open flow criteria to be applied for that packet coalescing open profile and each packet coalescing close profile defines a set of packet coalescing close flow criteria to be applied for that packet coalescing open profile. packet coalescing open flow and close flow profiles are then assigned to packet coalescing-enabled receive queues on the network device and corresponding open and flow criteria are used to perform packet coalescing-related processing of packets in the receive queues.

  • Patent number: 11818710
Abstract: New Radio (NR)-aware LTE scheduling is provided. An access station for a radio access network includes a first scheduling function. The first scheduling function identifies a User Equipment (UE) device that has a first active wireless connection and a second active wireless connection to the radio access network. The first scheduling function determines that expanded coverage is need for an uplink transmission for the second active wireless connection and obtains uplink scheduling information for the second active wireless connection. The first scheduling function adjusts uplink scheduling for the first active wireless connection such that power sharing is prioritized for uplink time intervals of the second active wireless connection over overlapping uplink time intervals of the first active wireless connection.

  • Patent number: 11812474
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, user equipment (UEs) may communicate over sidelink channels in a shared (e.g., unlicensed) channel bandwidth. A UE may implement sub-channel-based occupancy time sharing for the unlicensed sidelink to improve resource usage. The UE may gain access to the shared channel bandwidth for an occupancy time and may transmit a sharing indicator indicating a portion of resources of the shared channel bandwidth for the occupancy time. The UE may transmit a time-division multiplexing sharing indicator to share a portion of slots of the occupancy time, a frequency-division multiplexing sharing indicator to share a portion of sub-channels of the shared channel bandwidth, or some combination thereof. A UE receiving the sharing indicator may identify the shared resources and may transmit in these shared resources (e.g., without performing a full contention process for an occupancy time).

  • Patent number: 11582095
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for a mechanism for faster convergence of network traffic after a network device's link is interrupted by leveraging the withdrawal of the ethernet virtual private network (EVPN) auto discovery (AD) route. This may be accomplished by a first device checking an ethernet segment identifier (ESI) status flag before generating an entry in the first device's forwarding table, where the entry is based on an IP route for a host received by a second network device. In response to receiving a withdrawal of an EVPN AD route from the second device, the first device may update the ESI status flag to indicate that the host on the ethernet segment (ES) is reachable only via the third device and update the entry that was based on the IP route for the host received by the second network device to prevent sending traffic to the host via the second device.
