Exemplary systems may execute methods via one or more processors, which are programmed to generate a visual representation of a package, receive input from the user, the input indicating opening of the package, and provide feedback to the user corresponding to the opening of the package that at least partially mimics a physical opening of the package.

Abstract: A medical system includes an operation panel provided with an LCD touch panel and an ultrasound observation apparatus connected via a cable. When a comment receiving section of the operation panel receives comment information from a comment transmitting section of the ultrasound observation apparatus, an LCD image processing section changes a comment on the LCD touch panel according to the comment information, an operation control section sends out information about the change to an apparatus control section, and the ultrasound observation apparatus changes a comment display of a predetermined portion on a diagnosis monitor.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for providing an electronic search and guidance application that uses non-address destination designations. In one embodiment, a user enters a particular building identifier via a mobile device. A particular geographic location corresponding to the particular building identifier is determined. A user interface is generated that includes a map having an indicium showing the particular geographic location that corresponds to the particular building identifier.

Abstract: A screen magnification software feature that listens to internal messages within an operating system and automatically detects an input control coming into focus and sets a primary magnified view port on that input control. As an end user interacts with the input control the software further listens for operating system messaging indicating a change in an output region responsive to the interaction with the input control. Upon detecting this output region change, a secondary magnified view port is displays simultaneously with the primary magnified view port on a graphic user interface, the focus staying within the primary magnified view port. The end user has magnified views of both the control she is interacting with (e.g., a virtual calculator keypad of buttons) in the primary view port and the output region (e.g., a text box showing the calculated result) in the secondary view port.

Abstract: The present application is directed to a system and method for creating on-line comments of a point of interest. The system and method creates a moment having a piece of digital content showing the point of interest, wherein the moment has a time stamp and a location stamp; and shares the moment with a predetermined group of members. The sharing of the moment is limited to members that meet the time stamp and the location stamp, and the system and method refuse accepting comments from members that do not meet the time stamp and location stamp.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for displaying a thumbnail image. A plurality of thumbnail images that corresponds to a plurality of files stored in a storage unit is displayed. The plurality of files comprises at least one of a video file or an image file. A thumbnail image is selected from the plurality of thumbnail images. A selected effect is applied to the selected thumbnail image to generate a modified thumbnail image. The modified thumbnail image to which the selected effect has been applied is displayed.

Abstract: Approaches are described for managing a display of content on a computing device. Content (e.g., images, application data, etc.) is displayed on an interface of the device. An activation movement performed by a user (e.g., a double-tap) can cause the device to enable a content view control mode (such as a zoom control mode) that can be used to adjust a portion of the content being displayed on the interface. The activation movement can also be used to set an area of interest and display a graphical element indicating that the content view control mode is activated. In response to a motion being detected (e.g., a forward tilt or backward of the device), the device can adjust a portion of the content being displayed on the interface, such as displaying a “zoomed-in” portion or a “zoomed-out” portion of the image.

Abstract: Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface on a second screen. More particularly, the method includes a change in the display mode of a multiple screen device from a first screen to a second screen while the device is closed. The change in the display mode may be made in response to a request from an application. The application may be executed and have the user interface window associated with the application moved to a second screen. The change to the second screen can be requested based on input into the application or automatically generated based on the type of application. In response to the request from the application, the device can render the user interface in the second screen.

The method associates the at least first and second images as companion images according to one or more entered instructions. In response to an operator selection of either of or both of the first and second executable data links, the method displays either the corresponding first or second image, or both companion images.

The system includes a targeting module and a graphic user interface module (“GUI module”). The targeting module determines the third party content file for the user generated content file based at least in part on social data describing a user activity. The targeting module retrieves the target data for the third party content file. The GUI module is communicatively coupled to the targeting module for receiving the retrieved target data from the targeting module. The GUI module generates a rich web page for the third party content file based at least in part on the retrieved target data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs for interfacing a user with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) are provided. One method includes operations for identifying a point of gaze (POG) of a user, and for detecting initiation of an action by the user to move a position of a selector for selecting objects presented on a graphical user interface (GUI). In addition, the method includes an operation for determining the distance between the current position of the selector and the POG. The displacement speed of the selector is adjusted based on the distance between the current position of the selector and the POG, where the displacement speed is reduced as the distance between the current position of the selector and the POG becomes smaller.

For one or more of the image series, the system displays a thumbnail image representing the image series in a secondary segment of a display. In response to a selection of one of the displayed thumbnail images the system displays in the secondary segment a positioning grid with multiple sections, each section representing a section of a separate primary segment of the display that does not overlap the secondary segment. In response to a selection of one of the sections in the positioning grid the system updates the display to cause an image in the image series corresponding to the selected thumbnail image to be displayed in the section of the primary segment of the display represented by the selected section of the positioning grid.

Abstract: A particular method includes generating, at a server configured to access inventory data associated with one or more managed devices, a graphical user interface (GUI) that is operable to define grouping criteria for one or more dynamic groups of managed devices. The method also includes receiving, at the server via the GUI, first grouping criteria and data identifying an action to be performed with respect to managed devices that satisfy the first grouping criteria. The first grouping criteria is based on at least second grouping criteria and a logical operator. The method further includes determining, at the server based on the inventory data, a group of managed devices that satisfy the first grouping criteria.
