Abstract: Provided is a method for performing random access of a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method receives information about at least one first sub-frame from a base station, selects at least one second sub-frame from at least one first sub-frame, and transmits a random access preamble in a randomly selected sub-frame from at least one second sub-frame if the terminal is a specific type. If the terminal is not a specific type, the random access preamble is transmitted from the randomly selected sub-frame from at least one first sub-frame.
