Abstract: Wireless communications using multiple active resources (e.g., bandwidth parts (BWP)) are described. At least one of multiple active resources (e.g., BWPs) of a first cell may be selected to send scheduling information (e.g., cross-carrier scheduling information) for other cells. A base station may send downlink control information (DCI) for scheduling (e.g., cross-carrier scheduling) a second cell using the selected BWP. A wireless device may monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) of the selected BWP to detect the DCI for scheduling (e.g., cross-carrier scheduling) the second cell.

  • Patent number: 11096170
Abstract: Systems and methods herein increase the throughput and decreases the collisions of transmitted resource element group (REG) bundles. Prior to transmitting a PDCCH comprising REG bundles, one or more processors perform a multi-component interleaver process that diversifies and randomizes the sequence of the REG bundles while also supporting CORESETs having different symbol lengths. In embodiments, the multi-component interleaver diversifies a virtual sequence of REG bundles using a block interleaver and then uses a randomizer interleaver to randomize the output sequence of the block interleaver. The diversified and randomized output sequence of REG bundles may be the physical channel sequenced of the REG bundles. The physical channel sequence of REG bundles is diversified and randomized such that the physical sequence increases throughput and decreases the collisions of transmitted REG bundles. Other aspects are claimed and described.

  • Patent number: 11096178
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a capability of the UE to support concurrent transmissions on a maximum number of channels, and may report the capability to a base station. The UE may identify that the UE 115 is scheduled to concurrently transmit on a scheduled number of channels. In some cases, the scheduled number of channels may exceed the maximum number of channels supported for concurrent transmissions by the UE. In some cases, the UE may then transmit one or more concurrent transmissions to the base station, the one or more concurrent transmissions being less than or equal to the maximum number of channels supported for concurrent transmission by the UE.
