  • Patent number: 11868831
Abstract: A system and method for capturing media and for printing the captured media onto an article of merchandise. The system includes a mobile application that overlays one or more print dielines corresponding to the printable areas of one or more types of merchandise onto an associated camera display. In this way, the system provides, prior to the capturing of the photograph, a visual indication of the subject matter within the photograph (e.g., within the overlaid print dielines) that will be cropped and printed onto the merchandise. As such, a user may properly arrange the subject matter of the photograph (e.g., people) within the print dieline prior to capturing the photograph. The system subsequently communicates the portion of the photograph within the print dieline to a printing system to print the portion onto the merchandise. The system derives the print dielines from graphic files that correspond to the merchandises' printable areas.

  • Patent number: 11849227
Abstract: An image sensor configured to capture imagery with mitigated noise includes a plurality of image sensing pixels arranged to form a sensor array. Each image sensing pixel of the plurality of image sensing pixels comprises an active area configured to receive photons to facilitate image capture. Each active area comprises a length and a width. For at least one image sensing pixel of the plurality of image sensing pixels, the length or the width of the active area is smaller than about 80% of a pixel pitch measurement between the at least one image sensing pixel and an adjacent image sensing pixel. A size of the active area relative to the pixel pitch measurement contributes to mitigating sensor noise for the image sensor.

  • Patent number: 11825186
Abstract: Image quality according to user preferences can be suitably reflected in an image capturing device (camera). A program causes a computer to function as an analysis-object image quality adjusting unit that generates an analysis-object image. The analysis-object image quality adjusting unit generates an adjusted analysis-object image used along with an analysis-object RAW image to decide an image quality settings parameter of a captured image acquired by an image capturing device. In this case, the adjusted analysis-object image is generated by performing image quality adjustment processing on an analysis-object RAW image that is different from an adjustment-object RAW image, on the basis of image quality adjustment information indicating an image quality adjustment value of image quality adjustment processing as to the adjustment-object RAW image.
