Abstract: A material capsule containing a reactive or caustic dental material and a separately attachable delivery tip having a metal cannula. A material capsule for placement in a syringe contains a reactive or caustic dental material for dispensing through a metal cannula. The material capsule is sealed for storing the caustic or reactive dental material, preventing prolonged contact with or proximity to the metal cannula of a delivery tip. Contact with the reactive or caustic dental material only occurs during actual dispensing. Transition portions facilitate dispensing of viscous material. External grips facilitate attachment of the delivery tip. The dispensing and accurate placement of caustic or reactive dental materials is facilitated, making dentistry easier.

Abstract: A dental_implant that increases the amount of bone around the implant by increasing its length in order to place a longer implant without the need for a sinus elevation surgery in the posterior maxillary region where bone stock is not sufficient by employing the principles of displacement procedures in implantology which rely on regeneration of patient's own bone and have been used for years in the dentistry for orthodontic procedures. The dental implant has a pressure adaptor that protrudes and advances through the apical part of the implant body. Pressure adaptor is advanced within the bone until desired length of implant and bone is achieved. This procedure forms significant amount of bone around the implant within the floor of maxillary sinus. Floor of maxillary sinus is elevated. New bone is formed without the need for an additional surgery.

Abstract: A dental implant with expandable engagement portions hinged on the bottom of the implant. The expandable engagement portions may be made of gold and may have a smooth or contoured outer surface and expand outward when an expander is inserted into the implant. To receive the implant, an implant site is created in the jawbone which is wider at the bottom, having a shape similar to the implant when expanded, so that once the expandable engagement portions expand outward, they fill the bottom of the implant site and thereby result in strong mechanical engagement between the implant and the jawbone. The implant is further anchored by horizontal anchoring apparatus configured for insertion into the bone and the implant. Each of the horizontal anchoring apparatus may anchor the implant onto only one wall, making it possible to use such anchoring apparatus in the event that a wall is missing.

Abstract: A dental implant system includes a dental implant having a rotationally symmetrical coronal implant region and a supra-structure element that includes an apically extending sleeve portion, which is capable of being placed on the coronal implant region in a freely selectable rotational position. The edge line of the sleeve portion and the circumferential surface of the coronal implant region form together the physiologically relevant micro gap. After implantation and healing-in of the implant, the supra-structure element is placed on to the coronal implant region. An axial length of the sleeve portion and the rotational position of the supra-structure element relative to the implant are selected in such a manner, that the micro gap extending around the implant comes to lie above the natural bone surface by the biological width. Thus, the axial position and the course of the micro gap are adjustable after the healing-in of the implant.
