  • Patent number: 5208875
Abstract: A digital picture signal processing apparatus has memories each capable of storing digital words representing respective pixels which, when arranged in a two-dimensional array, make up a picture. A read address generator produces a digital read address identifying the position of a set of the stored words to be read from respective different ones of the memories, the words of the set representing a set of pixels so positioned relative to one another as to constitute at least some of the pixels of a portion of the picture. The read address comprises at least one least significant bit (LSB) for each of the coordinate directions. A digital filter has a number of multipliers equal to the number of words in the set and each being connected to a data bus of a respective memory so as to receive a respective one of the set of words read therefrom, and a plurality of coefficient memories.

  • Patent number: 5181258
Abstract: Disclosed is a linear pattern recognizing method of recognizing a linear pattern included in the image data stored in an original image memory. The memory region of the original image memory is divided into a plurality of smaller regions, and the image data of the smaller regions are utilized to obtain projection waveforms at a plurality of projection angles for each smaller region. The projection waveforms thus obtained are analyzed to detect the presence or absence, line direction (.theta.), smaller region. According to the results of detection, a linear segment corresponding to the linear pattern is extracted for each smaller region.

  • Patent number: 5127062
Abstract: A system for forming, in a plane, a wiring harness having a plurality of conductors each of which must follow a predetermined path, of the type which has: (a) a flat support; (b) a unit for representing each of the paths on the support; and (c) a unit for provisionally holding the conductors in position along their path. The representation unit is a coherent light beam generator, for which the flat support plays the role of screen, and which is capable of scanning the flat support so as to display thereon the light trace of the path of a given conductor of the harness. The system further has a unit for storing the information relative to the paths of the different conductors of the wiring harness, which unit is connected both to a unit for identifying a given conductor and to a unit for controlling the beam generator for displaying, on the support, the path specific to the given conductor.
