Abstract: A projector capable of projecting a gray-level image for adjusting a color wheel delay includes a housing, a light source installed in the housing, a color wheel, an image modulator, a control circuit, and a scalar. The color wheel separates the light from the light source into color light. The image modulator modulates the color light from the color wheel and projects the color light to form an image on a screen. The control circuit connected to the image modulator controls the image modulator to operate synchronously with the color wheel. The scalar connected to the image modulator generates a gray-level image signal. The image modulator modulates the color light and forms a gray-level image on the screen by receiving the gray-level image signal from the scalar. The control circuit adjusts the image modulator to operate synchronously with the color wheel according to the gray-level image signal.
Abstract: An image display method of improving brightness of an output image in an image display device using a sequential driving method and a plurality of single-color light sources. The image display method includes extracting a white color component from the primary color image signals, calculating a period to display the white color component, converting the primary color image signals into shortened primary color image signals and a white color image signal based on the period to display the white color component, and driving the single-color light sources together during a period to display the white color image signal and sequentially driving the single-color light sources during a period to display the shortened primary color image signals. The brightness of output images is improved by displaying the white color image signal by simultaneously driving the single-color light sources based on a ratio of a lowest gradient to a highest gradient of the primary color signals.

Abstract: A driving circuit of an LCD device contains a driving circuit. The driving circuit includes a digital-to-analog converter that outputs a first data signal by converting a digital data signal to an analog data signal; a modulator that outputs a second data signal by modulating the amplitude and pulse width of the first data signal; and a combiner that combines the first data signal with the second data signal. The combiner provides the combined data signal to a data line of an LCD panel.
Abstract: The invention relates to an image display screen including: light emitters arranged as rows of light emitters and columns of light emitters, control means to control the emissions of the light emitters, including: a plurality of modulation transistors, each associated with one light emitter of the array, the said modulation transistors being positioned next to each other, along a guiding line, a plurality of compensating transistors intended to compensate for the threshold trigger voltage of the modulation transistors. A single compensating transistor is connected to all the modulation transistors of a column and is intended to compensate for the threshold trigger voltages of all the said modulation transistors of this column. This compensating transistor is formed in the extension of the said modulation transistors of a column along the same guiding line. The invention also relates to a method for driving this screen.
Abstract: A control device comprises a base portion and a handle portion extending from the base portion. The handle portion is movable from side to side relative to the base portion in an X direction, and forward and backward relative to the base portion in a Y direction perpendicular to the X direction. The handle portion is also configured to twist relative to the base portion. A magnetoresistive sensor is located in the handle portion. The magnetoresistive sensor is configured to provide an output signal indicative of a twist angle of the handle portion relative to the base portion. At least one sensor is disposed in the base portion for detecting a position of the handle portion in the X and Y directions.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for driving an electro-luminescence display panel capable of preventing an initial blinking phenomenon occurring at a power application is disclosed. In the method, a first electrode of the EL cell and a ground voltage source are opened during a first period from a turn-on time of a power source to shut off a current path of the EL cells. Then, the first electrode of the pixel matrix and the ground voltage source is shorted during a second period to form a current path such that the EL cells are light-emitted in accordance with a data supplied to the pixel matrix.
