In alternative embodiments, provided are therapeutic combinations, pharmaceutical compositions, formulations, kits and devices comprising: a beta adrenergic receptor antagonist (a “beta blocker”) such as propranolol; a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (a NSAID) such as etodolac; and, a sorafenib or NEXAVAR™ or equivalent thereof. In alternative embodiments, the therapeutic combinations further comprise an anti-cancer or anti-tumor antibody, a cytokine, and/or an additional chemotherapeutic agent.
